We provide an authentic Montessori environment in keeping with the core values and teachings of Maria Montessori. We value the child’s individuality and support his natural development so that he may become self-​motivated, reach new levels of understanding and develop a strong sense of self-​esteem.

Our enormous outdoor play area is in a natural setting and includes a 15′ x 28′ sand box, a 6′ x 6′ play house, a 27′ x 8′ pirate ship, a gardening area and an outdoor music area.

We are a developing centre which serves to create a strong community around the school. We provide a unique, authentic centre of excellence where children can reach their highest potential.

Victoria K.

Gérant de commerce

Victoria is the sole proprietor of Authentic Montessori Academy. She is a certified Montessori teacher and has extensive experience running daycare programs. Victoria brings a lifetime of experience in child care and great enthusiasm for the Montessori Method of education. She is a member of the National Association of Montessori Women and a member of the Canadian Association of Montessori Teachers.

Victoria comes from an entrepreneurial background and has extensive experience in the financial services industry as well as management and customer service experience in a variety of businesses.

Her interests include continuing education; reading; woodworking; winter and summer sports. She is a certified water ski and snow ski instructor.
