Scumbags! After attempting to make a purchase for 3 hours and speaking to more than 5 people, things got educational. Information I got from the staff is… Canadian Tire owner of this location is selling, so he hired a bunch of shitty managers to hire more shitty people to work in this location. On top of that, they are seriously understaffed… because you know… the guys who is selling has to leave with as much money as possible. If this is true, I am in very high hopes that the new owner will rid of all the scumbags that are making this place unbearable. I have to give a huge thumbs up to the young teenager at the auto parts desk who handled very angry customers with respect and patients. Good luck guys, I hope changes are coming soon.

May 25 checked back to deal with the issues. Talked to the manger who showed a not care attitude and blamed everything to his staffs. Not even a word for apology for the failure. I mean you are the manage and this is how you solve issue and treat your employee?
If u have to go to this shop for car issue make sure you triple check. Be they not gonna provide you agreement or apology.
When one fails in a team, it is not whose fault it is that the entire team fails and the company fails. Be honest and brave to accept the fault and apology. Then find solution and agreement to fix it.

Complete rip off, staff are the most disrespectful people you can imagine, they are not mechanics but con artists. do NOT ever go here for anything. Even if you are lost or need to use the bathroom do NOT go inside, somehow they will rip you off

The service at the auto shop is terrible. I wanted to have my winter tires changed and they told me to expect a 2 hour wait. I completely understand and went across the street to a Starbucks to wait. 10 minutes in, I got a call from Can Tire saying the tires are out of balance and need to be balanced (said that every time) and I answered alright. Realizing right after they are charging $ 20 per tire, which is insane, I called right back to cancel knowing I can get it much cheaper pretty much anywhere else. Of course no one picks up, I so walked back into the store and told them to cancel. They come and tell me they started doing it already. Didn’t expect to have my car worked on this fast I thought there was a wait with the 2 hour they told me. I thought at least it’ll be fast and ready soon. Nope. Waited another hour before it’s ready. They either lied about already started working on it or started working on something, putting it down, wait another hour to finish it. Never coming back again.

Customer service at this location is exceptionally shitty.
If you don’t need assistance for picking up stuff, its ok… at best. But if you need help locating a special part, or need one of their many display cases unlocked for say a special socket adapter, good luck finding floor associate on a weekend. I never understand why you would not staff a store better on the weekends. I guess you have to find people who want to work first.

The franchisee should be absolutely ashamed of the state of this Canadian Tire. The company itself should be alarmed, and it shows that they are disconnected at what goes on at the store-​level.
Every time, without fail, I enter this particular Canadian Tire, there is an angry customer yelling at the returns desk. My wife and I joke that it’s just «another satisfied customer!». The staff are rude at worst, ambivalent at best.
What truly kills me are the line ups at the register. They’ve recently modified their line to the ‘wait in line until the next cashier is available’ method, which really only means that they have customers corralled sideways along the registers instead of behind them, which makes the lines seem shorter. There are no less than 10 people in line with never more than 2 cashiers on duty. Needless to say it is quite the wait to check out.
I only visit this store if I’m in an absolute pinch and don’t want to go to the Home Depot on Elgin Mills.

VEHICULAR SABOTAGE! They don’t care about your service! My dad got two new tires and came out with noticeably misaligned steering. They offer ½ price alignment service! How convenient! So we got the alignment. Now we have to get new tires after 35k because the alignment wasn’t completed professionally! Our experience cost is $ 800 just to fix what they «serviced»! Service Advisors are rude and customer service is «fair» they didn’t even pay ½ our expense to visit and fix their mistakes!
«WE CARE» slogan, they don’t care enough to keep their customers!
