JEI Learning Centers go beyond afterschool tutoring by offering an innovative approach to enrichment learning. Students Pre-​K to 9^th grade can enjoy an individualized academic experience with JEI’s proven track record. Aligned with Common Core State Standards, JEI’s curriculum helps kids build strong foundations in Math, English, Reading & Writing, and Critical Thinking.

JEI’s program begins with the diagnostic test which pinpoints a student’s fundamental strengths and weaknesses and prescribes a personalized study program. By attending weekly small-​group sessions with our instructors, students improve understanding and develop key study skills. Through JEI’s afterschool program or summer camp, your child can discover a passion for learning at an early age.

A Better Life Through Better Education is the philosophy behind JEI’s internationally acclaimed method. While traditional tutoring offers the short term solutions of test preparation and homework help, JEI focuses on long term academic success. With JEI’s curriculum, every student has the opportunity to develop critical thinking abilities and master core concepts in a fun and engaging environment. Hello, My name is Sophie. I am proud to be the Director of Operations at JEI Learning Center Richmond Hill. I studied International Development Studies at the University of Toronto and have always wanted to pursue a career that was education related. I have a driven passion engaging in the business aspect within an educational field. I have learned that supporting your child’s education is very important. With large student number to teacher ratios in the public school system, not all children’s needs are met within a normal classroom setting. At JEI, we can help fill in knowledge gaps that your child may have in subjects such as Math, English, and French. With our self-​learning method and individualized program plans, we are able to meet your child’s areas of development. My job is to work collaboratively with our families and JEI team members to meet the needs of our students and provide them with the best possible solution for their learning needs.
