We are local chefs dedicated to helping local families with crazy busy lives eat better. It’s simple. Our food is prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients. No preservatives or additives are used, ever.

And even better, we bring it to your door in a cooler… unless you want to pick up on Fridays from our shop from noon-6:30

Feed your entire family a gourmet dinner for the price of a single entrée at a restaurant. It’s like eating out — but in.

We promote healthy, exciting eating everywhere we go. And we don’t just promote it, we have dedicated our professional lives to it. And we know, first hand, with so much going on, making sure your family gets a great meal every night isn’t an easy feat. We’re here to help you.

It’s simple, just choose your meals from the menu, we will get the order on our end and make it for you and then we will freeze it, ready for you to pick up or have delivered. Our menu changes every Monday to keep it interesting and so we can incorporate seasonal ingredients. Instructions for reheating or cooking are provided with every meal ordered.

Joanne studied the Culinary Arts at Malaspina College and then moved to Banff to complete her Red-​Seal Chef Certification. She has worked as a chef in fancy resorts and hotels, and as the Pastry Chef at the River Rock Casino and most recently, as a Product Designer at a major cake manufacturer.

Joanne discovered that as a chef and busy mom of 2 (both kids having umpteen sports and activities to get to on any given day) it made complete sense to prepare her family’s meals in advance to ensure that they ate wonderful nutritious dinners together every evening. Her ‘a-​ha’ moment was when she thought that she probably wasn’t alone and that many families struggle with too many and activities and too little time. So with her husband Morgan, another Chef, «batch foods» was created for the soul purpose of helping families with crazy schedules eat better.
