IFN Modern

I don’t even know where to start. If I could give no stars I would. I never ended up getting the couch that I ordered so I can’t speak to the actual product, but I can share my experience with their terrible customer service.
Ordered couch in early December since the price was decent and the product seemed like it would be good.
Called in February for an update, was told that it was on a container ship and I’d get tracking information soon.
Called in March to again check on the status and was told my order wasn’t going to be able to be fulfilled because the item had been discontinued. What? I thought it was on a container ship! Also how would I have even found that out if I hadn’t thought to call since they never supplied any updates about my order status.
Was promised a refund which took over 3 weeks (got it in April) because they sent a check (who sends a check nowadays, just refund my credit card that I paid you with!)
So to sum up terrible service, if you actually get your product it’ll probably take months, but don’t expect to be kept in the loop on that. The customer service people told me that this type of stuff never happens, but from reading other reviews I really don’t think that’s correct. Just buy from somewhere else, anywhere else probably.

DO NOT SHOP THERE!!! I ordered my furniture piece back in October. Now 5 month later I am still waiting to get the right product. When I received my piece I was so shocked that the quality of the furniture was nothing like the pictures on their website or in their Youtube video. It looked like a cheaply made Chinese furniture (Later I did find out their manufacturer is in China). I’ve been contacting them to get a replacement for my defective pieces, but the process has been just painful. You do not get customer service from them. Once you paid them the money they don’t care any more. Especially the sales person Niki. She is not helpful and very very rude. There are so many better online furniture websites out there with way better customer services and better quality products. Do you waste your time and energy with them.

Don’t do it! Don’t be sucked in by the pretty pictures. Once you receive your furniture… and it will take a while, like four months, the quality will be horrible. Uneven seams, wonky pillows and completely uncomfortable. It makes IKEA seem fancy by comparison. The best part of the experience was getting it out of our house… though you then have to re-​box the whole thing yourself. At least they realized they had to take it back. I do not know how this has any good reviews. Not a quality product at all.

The ordering process was probably the less painful of my experience here.
I ordered a LC3 reproduction on August 4, 2015. I was informed that it will take between 6 to 8 weeks. Having read that it normally takes 12 weeks to get a large item like the LC3, I didn’t follow up with them until week 10.
I received different responses
— They are on the boat on it’s way to USA Port. They should be in here next week.
— They are in USA but it’s held for inspection. They should be here next week.
— Sofa will arrive at end of October and will ship to you first week of November.
— They will be released and will email you as soon as we have a tracking information.
Finally, after calling them out on the inconsistencies of their answers, I received an official email saying that their container is held up in a USA port. They said it will take another 20 to 30 days.
Today, I received another email basically saying the same thing with the additional option of cancelling my order and/​or placing another with a lead time of 8 to 12 weeks or 3 to 4 months.
I gave them a one star for their website. Other than that, very very very disappointing experience.

I am very impressed with IFN Modern. I will definitely do business with them even though I live in Seattle! I bought the LC3, Le Corbusier Italian leather sofa from them in December 2014 after nearly buying the same item from another company on Amazon that had an inferior product and atrocious customer service. I had looked at this sofa, online only, mind you, only to encounter a dishonest vendor on Amazon. Then I found IFN Modern.
It was like going from eating a quickie dinner on paper plates to eating on fine bone china!!!
Yes, I paid almost double from my initial budget but you really do get what you pay for and in this case, tons and tons more! The sofa is a delight and I know it is a very good quality product. Perhaps more importantly, the customer service experience was exceptional!
Nickie consistently went out of her way for me. When I asked for fabric swatches, they arrived promptly.
When I engaged in Chat with her or her staff, they were knowledgeable and their facts were correct.
No question was unanswered. Outstanding email communication.
Clear, consistent, and frequent communication is a huge part of IFN Modern. They want to wok with their customers and to make them happy.
The product arrived (in a pouring rainstorm in Seattle!) thoroughly packaged and as described and documented.
I highly recommend IFN Modern and will gladly do business with them again.
