Best waffle cone ever. Fresh and warm with delicious ice cream to go with it. My favorite ice cream parlor.

Extremely horrible service! This Indian server (girl) accused me of not lining up while I was obviously standing behind a few Chinese ladies. Told me where the line up when it was my turn. Argued with me when I told her I was in line. Extremely bad attitude.

Amazing frozen yogurt place. It’s the only place I know of that uses fresh fruit that it blends with the yogurt on the spot, and also offers fresh waffle cones to put the froyo in! Delicious. CASH only though!
Blueberry and peach were delicious.
The mango we tried was a little warm, which was slightly unpleasant.

the right place to visit when weather starts boiling lots of flavors of ice cream and yogurt to choose from… a cup a cone or by waffle cone, very refreshing. Reasonable price… so good to lick them while walking in the board walk… neat place. CASH only… cool place to cool off your temperature hahahah

Wow this place can get busy but it is so good!
Me and a friend tried this place out, we both got ours in waffle cones. So delicious!
It was a bit of a lineup and can be busy but it’s a great location.
It’s a little pricey but that may also have to do with the location. Definitely worth walking around Stevenson with a yummy treat like this.

We dropped by Timothy’s for dessert after a day of birthday freebies. I got the single sized raspberry frozen yogurt (~$ 5). They mix the frozen fruit into the frozen yogurt right in front of you. The service was really fast, and the frozen yogurt was super tasty and fruity. The waffle cone was pretty light – definitely one of the better ones I’ve had so far. Be careful though; this place is cash only!

Ambience: Quaint but modern yogurt and ice cream shop located right near the Warf.
Food: The waffles cones are hand made right in front of you and come to you still warm!!! Excellent selection of delicious gelatos and frozen yogurts with several options for toppings!
Price: somewhat pricey but well worth it!
Summary: the best option to get some ice cream/​frozen yogurt and stroll the wharf.

I live in Langley. Went for dinner with a friend of mine in Steveston and ended up having an ice cream for desert at Timothy’s. My friend had been to this place before and said the ice cream is great. They had so many yummy flavors, I asked for a sample. The employee was very nice and obliged. We only had two samples total and were about to order when a lady wearing a red shirt came up and abruptly pointed at a sign that said ‘no samples’ and said to the employee in a rude manner in front of us «can’t you read, the sign says no samples?!» We ordered two waffle cones feeling really bad for the young employee.
The ice cream was great and the waffle cone was to die for. I felt bad for the employee so I went to the lady (manager?) and appologized for upsetting her and getting the employee in trouble.
Needless to say, we won’t support a place that made us feel bad for eating fairly expensive ice cream.

After the dinner at Kiriri, we didn’t get satisfy at all. Therefore, we decided to go Steveston for dessert/​ice cream.
I have been Steveston village numerous times but I never wanna try Timothy’s at all. Sunny and hot evening, my friends craving for ice cream/​yogurt so we lined up for it.
I heard it’s so popular dessert place at Steveston and the best fresh fruit frozen yogurt! However, it’s so disappointed on my hubby’s yogurt and my «gelato»!
My hubby’s mango yogurt tasted very icy with all the ice crystals from the freezer burn.
My espresso flake was not favorable! It’s not smooth or milky at all.
May be they can survive till now coz it’s an old ice cream place and in tourist area. Sorry… this is not my cup of tea.

No samples allowed, cash only, small portions, over priced… There is another ice cream place across the street with better quality product. This place is priced so high only because of the location.
We’ve lived in Steveston for 3 years. There are better options available.

This is my favourite place ever to get frozen yogurt. Located by the beautiful Steveston wharf, it’s a perfect place to visit on a nice day.
I always get a single size frozen yogurt with a waffle cone. They make their waffle cones fresh in front of you, and you can really taste the difference that makes.
They then blend fresh frozen fruit with the delicious frozen yogurt block. It’s not at all like the frozen yogurt at Pinkberry or Menchies, etc. It’s way way better! I never mix fruits because I’m too cheap, but my favourites to get are cherry, mango, or peach. Blackberry and mixed berry have a lot of seeds, and strawberry does a bit too. Cranberry is really tart. I would like to see pineapple on their fruit list.
Most recently I got mango and it was blended so smoothly. Oh my gosh it was so good. The only thing is they can’t really maintain consistent sizing with the portions because some staff scoop a lot of fruit, making a bigger portion of frozen yogurt, and some staff scoop very little. If the fruit chunks are small, that usually makes for a smaller yogurt. You will see in my pictures that my mango frozen yogurt is way bigger than the cherry. Also, sometimes they cook the waffle cone too long, making it a darker brown and not as tasty (to my preference anyway).
It’s cash only, and their hours in the winter season are weird. They basically close whenever they like or when it gets dark. Yes, I eat these year round.
They need a stamp card or something because I come here way too much. I’m addicted!

This frozen yoghurt is the best!!! I live fairly nearby so I come perhaps 2 – 3 times a month, rain or shine. I even come in the winter! The staff are super friendly and everything is very fresh.
The waffle cones are made right in front of you, and the frozen fruits are all displayed by the counter. Mango is probably my favourite flavour while a lot of people opt for the mixed berries. Seriously, this is the BEST!

Conveniently located along the wharf, definitely makes this a popular place for ice cream. The selection is pretty good for the size of the establishment and the quality (from the cones to the ice cream) is fresh and very good.
The service is fine but during my visit there last year there was an older guy behind the counter who did not display or exercise any skills in hospitality. I was a bit surprised especially in an ice cream place where generally the mood is quite ‘happy’.
When we were in the line up, a large group of visitors came in. As they gathered in, the man working behind the counter did nothing to politely instruct people to line up at one end. Instead he spoke in a scolding tone to get people to move over to one end? This actually resulted in three people leaving (who we saw later at the other ice cream place across the street).
Aside from that incident, the service has been average, but not outstanding for such a landmark location on the pier. Definitely an opportunity for the owners to think about.
No matter how good, bad, or average a business is, it is the energy and overall vibe of the service that is a huge contributer to your overall ‘guest’ experience. This is what keeps them coming back for more and share their positive experiences with others who plan to visit Steveston, and this is what ultimately breathes life in the business (not just a great location). My tip for the owners: Have your staff treat every single customer (local or visitor, big or small) like your best friend every time and you will elevate the success of your business to new levels faster than before.
The prices at this location versus the two nearby ice cream locations are a bit higher and offer slightly different variety. A forth place (and the name escapes me) is further in the village (which I still need to check out).
Overall, I like Timothy’s. It is a good place to satisfy an ice cream craving on a warm or cool day. I’ve given it the A-​Ok (more so on the 3.5 stars) rating as my reviews encompass the whole package of quality food AND customer experience.

My Canadian friend says this place has the best froyo in Vancouver. I was doubtful at first…
and then I bit into the warm waffle cone. O… M… G… It was SO GOOD. I was a little surprised that it was warm because most cones are typically cool/​room temperature. I think the warm cone gave it the wow factor.
I ordered the rum raisin flavor… honestly could not tell that it was froyo. It tasted too much like ice cream! Love love loved it! Highly recommended! :)

I get the appeal. It’s in Steveston. On the wharf. By the water. Touristy yet local. Decent prices, and the kids’ cone/​cup is still a good serving!
Fresh waffle cones… yum. Love the options of ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt.
