Today I met the man, Uncle Jack, himself.
It was around 2pm on Sunday and they were the last market to sell out of blubes along No. 5 road. We got there just in time.
Well, maybe not.
Uncle Jack had just sold out and all he had left was 10 lb frozen blueberry boxes. We decided to go ahead and pick up a box, despite our long drive home on another hot Vancouver summer day.
Uncle Jack gave us the rest of the fresh blubes that he had at the bottom of his boxes for free. (Easily a couple of pints worth!)
He’s just as sweet as his August harvest blueberries! :)

We have been buying 40 to 60 lbs of blueberries per year from Jack’s — they have consistently been the best we have had from anywhere.
They are without stems, dirt, and are clean, and are reasonably priced. They taste better than any other we have tried. He’s worth the trip from the North Shore.
Nice job guys,. .. Keep up the good work.
We’ll continue to be long-​time customers.
