I’ve tried Yougo Chicken a while back and I remember thinking their chicken tasted great but because there’s so many Taiwanese restaurants in Richmond, the competition is tough so I never really went back. I was invited by Chinesebites to their Taste of Aberdeen media event and I was able to taste & remember why this place is so awesome. Eating this again it reassured me how awesome this place was and still is. As a food court vendor, they definitely do fall in line with a lot of other Taiwanese«restaurants». Their chicken nuggets were SO juicy and flavourful.

Very disappointed with the deep fried pork chop in presentation, taste and portion size. There was a lot of bone and not much meat, very salty/oily and simply unappetizing for $ 5+.

Thanks to earlier Unilocalers who said the deep fried chicken fillets are worth trying. They were all bang on! They have just the right amount of spice, have a nice crispy coating and super moist on the inside. The price is reasonable at $ 7.50 for a bento box(three sides and rice) plus another $ 1-$ 1.25 for a cold drink. Service is good and the food is prepared quickly. For a fast food restaurant, an easy 5 stars.

I heard from my Taiwanese friends how awesome this place is and even more delicious than the fried chicken in Taiwan. We went there with a lot of expectation and the place did not disappointed me. We ordered chicken fillet, sausages, tempura and squid balls. We ended up ordering extra chicken fillet as it was sooooo goooood.

I got the chicken fillet bento with green tea. Fried chicken was so juicy and tender! The price was right and the sides were delicious. My spouse and I both agree the chicken was on par(or even better) with the fried chicken fillet in Taiwan. Only downside was that they only take cash. Bummer!

Ordered the fried chicken with noodles. The chicken was crispy and tasty. It came as 4 large cut-up pieces. Tasted authentically Taiwanese enough. Will come back again!

Wow I’m really impressed. I suggest that YOU-GO(haha get it) and get some of their chicken ASAP! They really know their chicken. I’ve had Taiwanese chicken fillets in Taiwan before, and these were even better! The chicken is slathered in Taiwanese 5 spice mix, which makes the chicken super fragrant. The batter is crunchy, flaky, and drool inducing. The meat itself is very moist and juicy, with just the right amount of fat. Yougo is definitely aware of the fact that they face some stiff competition in the Aberdeen food court and their food is reflective of that. Bonus: The lady working there is really nice! Service is prompt and my order was ready in less than 4 mins! I’ll definitely be back!

Grand new opening Taiwanese bento place in Arberdeen food court! Chicken fillet bento box is super yummy! And cold milk tea is only a dollar more! The food is pretty authentic and well priced! Fried tempura and squid ball are must try items!

Used to be a vietnamese place i think, at this aberdeen food court, fairly new. tried their taiwanese noodles but mistakenly thought the broth would be similiar to Chef Hung but more plain, though i didn’t mind the flat-sized noodles. But the breaded, deep fried chicken strips, about 6 of them, pretty good value for for under $ 7, not bad. pretty well what you expected. Also tried their pork sausage, cut up in cute little circles, good too. Came during the busy lunch so they give you a number system to pick up, about a 5 min. wait. Will order again, but won’t make a big rush to.
