Historique

Fondé en 2008.

Dr. Jennifer Thomm («Jenn» as her patients know her) is a life-​long resident of Sarnia. Dr. Thomm completed a degree in Genetics from the University of Western Ontario. She then achieved her Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Case Western Reserve University, one of North America’s finest universities, located in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2003, Dr. Thomm returned to Sarnia to start her career and has owned her practice since 2008. She is the founder and principle dentist of Great Lakes Dental.

Dr. Thomm is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She is a certified provider of Cerec Dentistry (a unique CAD/​CAM system for patient-​specific ceramic restorations in a single visit). Dr. Thomm devotes many days each year to continuing education seminars, study clubs and conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest changes and techniques in dentistry.

Dr. Jennifer Thomm has lived in Sarnia, Ontario nearly her entire life. After completing her Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Case Western Reserve University, it was a no-​brainer that she would return to Sarnia and start-​up her own dental practice: Great Lakes Dental.

Dr. Jennifer Thomm has practiced dentistry in Sarnia since 2003. She recently opened her new office which offers 7 spacious operatories, a spa-​like environment, a kids’ entertainment area and a beverage centre. The office was built on the philosophy of providing patients with the utmost comfort combined with industry leading dental technology.

Building a thriving dental practice is only part of the equation for Dr. Thomm. She is also keenly focused on improving the quality of life for those around her. Among her many philanthropic interests, Dr. Jennifer Thomm created her annual Free Kids Dental Care Day, an event focused on providing free dentistry to children in our community.
