Fondé en 2012.

Locally owned and operated, Modern Sole opened in September of 2012 but mother and daughter team — Lauren and Sue. With a passion for fashion and beautiful footwear, Modern Sole was created for the trendy, fashion forward lady who loves unique shoes!

Lauren is a graduate of the Grant MacEwan Business Management program, and with many years experience in retail, dreamed of opening a shoe store! Through hard work, determination and passion for shoes, Modern Sole was opened for operation in September 2012.
