I wanted to love this place. I really did! My biggest beef is that their items are not as described on the menu. Their «oven roasted veggies with honey Dijon yogurt dressing» was *not*, in fact, full of oven roasted veggies — it was some blanched, diced carrots and turnips (?) on a large bed of lettuce. There is no way those veggie bits came near an oven. As another reviewer noted, their Margherita 1. b did *not* have fresh mozzarella, as advertised, but just the regular shredded variety. It also had very cooked prosciutto rather than cured which I’m used to. This made for one tough pizza, but in fairness they did not specify cooked or cured on the menu.
Sadly, I won’t be back.

The pizza is really solid. The crust is tasty, the toppings are flavorful. I made the mistake of ordering the mac & cheese with bacon — don’t follow in my footsteps. Oily noodles in a bowl, topped with bacon with alfredo sauce and what tastes like raw garlic poured into the middle of the dish — but not even mixed. So flavorless, unsatisfying and disappointing. I’ll probably come back for the pizza but that’s about it.

Disappointing! I came here with very high expectations. I was basically expecting Prima Strada but without the drive into town.

The crust was very tough, the tomato sauce was over cooked and instead of using soft, round fresh mozzarella they used regular, shredded mozzarella.
If all you’re looking for is something better quality than Domino’s you’ll probably be fine ordering here; but, if you want real pizza, go to Prima Strada or even Famoso.

Great wood-​fire baked pizza, not too heavy or greasy like other pizza places. Nice atmosphere and the staff are absolutely fantastic! Love coming here on Tuesday nights for their 2 for $ 22 deal ;)

Long waiting time… It’s a Sunday lunch. We wait at least 40 mins for our order!!! No one bring the food the our table… The server is very slow and inefficient.

Good pizza and great service. Very friendly and a good place to hangout. Not a huge selection of beers on tap, but a good variety of the three they had. Wood definitely eat here again.

Came here with my wife and daughter (toddler) and we all enjoyed the pizza here. My wife and I ordered a simple margherita pizza that was absolutely delicious. Great crust and toppings. We ordered the kids pepperoni pizza for our daughter. It was actually quite large, which was a good deal as it came with a drink and ice cream for dessert. We had the root beer wings to start which were very tasty. We ended it off with their smores — a great way to finish off the meal.
We found the service to be good, and while I couldn’t complain about the speed, I could see how it might be frustrating when the restaurant is full. We came early, so it wasn’t busy when we placed and received our orders. It looked liked there was one waitress handling the tables (it is a small place, so it’s not crazy) but they also had to handle the frequent pick ups from people who had called in an order.
All in all we were very happy to have gone here!

Yum yum yum! Very delicious pizzas and great drinks. Adding more vegetarian and vegan friendly options would allow them to cater to a broader clientele and make them my first choice (rather than my second) for pizza on the peninsula.

Mediocre, undercooked pizza (despite thin crust and minimalist topping selection) delivered lukewarm by inattentive server about twenty minutes after ordering (not bad), ten minutes after she began passing my empty beer glass (hrmmm…) and three minutes after delivering my appetizer (it was a small bowl of olives).
Here for business, eating alone, pretty easy to please with generally low expectations. They weren’t met. I rarely write reviews but thought I’d warn others as the place is appealing based on outward appearances given location. Still, I wouldn’t have made time to review except the server has now allowed me 15 minutes to myself with my credit card on top of the receipt in plain sight.

There are some day that your taste buds are so overwhelmed that they will never forget the experience. Tonight WAS NOT one of those experience.
The service was mediocre to poor. No smile, in à hurry to take our order. During the meal, never inquiered about how was our appi or our meal.
The appi was à cold cut and cheese plate. The cold cut where generic bulk peperoni & salami. The proscuito was very ordinary.
The main was pizza. Margarita with proscuito. The crust was ok. The toping where to cooked. You could not make out the fresh mozza as it was melted to à crisp.
At the end of the meal i was not ask if i wanted something else i was asked if i wanted the bill.
The owner/​manager asked my opinion. When i explain my dis like and why i rated is meal at best an ok, he didnt offer anything.
Over all very disapointed expérience

I love this wood oven pizza! It’s perfectly cooked, excellent dough and just enough cheese. We drive from Victoria when we want pizza because it’s so good. The service has always been excellent too!

Excellent food and atmosphere. I give the food 5 stars, but the consistently slow, inattentive service and high drink prices drop the rating down to a weak 3 stars. I don’t plan on revisiting before both of those issues are dealt with.

Great service with a smile, pizza was made in under 10 mins. Pizza was great crust wasn’t burnt, cheese was perfect and toppings were excellent. This is the place for gourmet pizza in Sidney.

True West Coast flare, right from the décor to the menu. The beautiful interior shows a distinct attention to detail. From the wood counters to the canning jar glasses, it feels like a cozy and hip west coast home.
The pizza menu is great, even the pickiest of diners should be able to find something to eat. I haven’t had a pizza here I haven’t liked, and I’ve tried almost the whole menu. My personal favourite pizzas…
Chicken, bacon and marinated olives and tomatos
Butter chicken
Marinated mushroom, artichoke, oven roasted garlic and pesto
Brie, bacon, apple, caramelized onion, garlic and olive oil
Oh and one suggestion for leftover pizza, next morning bake it in the oven and top with a fried egg. I did this with the leftover smoked salmon pizza and it was delicious.
