Description

Spécialités

Our small boutique hotel on the south west coast of Vancouver Island is only 40 minutes from Victoria or 20 minutes from the West Shore. We specialize on everything local from local seasonal cuisine to showcasing local artists in our vast gallery and we offer the ultimate relaxation, rejuvenation with a large selection of spa services from hot stones, to thalasotherapy using all the benefits of our local seaweed and aromatherapy with the local herbs from our certified organic edible gardens. We also are romantic by essence (our customers saying) and have organized and married hundreds of couples. We also are a perfect place for small to medium size corporate meetings, your group may think they are on a holiday not a working session! we are small, can adapt to all kinds of budgets, we are green and try to run our business in a sustainable way. We have been doing it for the last 31 years.

Historique

Fondé en 1929.

We bought the Sooke Harbour House in 1979, it was still the same small B&B it had been since the late twenties, the only difference was less waterfront land! We slowly renovated the old building and built new guest rooms. The dining room with its spectacular view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains has remained the same, we have extended the gardens and from the beginning decided that we were going to showcase the plentiful and mild tempered weather of our region. Our team of chefs and cooks have always been very passionate and creative to daily come up with a new menu featuring what is the best that day from the fishermen, the farmers, our own garden and local foragers. Our large guest rooms decorated with l antiques, local art, feature fantastic ocean view, deep soaking tubs, steam showers, wood burning fireplaces, plush robes, stocked wet bars, complimentary port, everything for your relaxing pleasure.
