I asked Rik, the co-​owner, if he could transfer data from my old MacBook Pro to my new MacBook Air and move my music from my old MBP to my iPhone. He said he could do this. He charged me $ 150. I now have to take my new MacAir to SoHo to fix the problems he created– it’s a total mess and also has a virus. Rik not only refused to fix his mess, he refused to give me a refund and then his tech friend threatened me and banned me from the shop because I used the F-​word as an adjective and it wasn’t even to describe him (he’s well over 300 lbs –about 4X my size) and I’m a senior, 5’1“female. Then the wife who actually owns the shop, and has an accounting business (GC acctg) as well as her husband’s junk, refused to give me a refund and threatened to go to the RCMP because I said her husband f-​ed up my computer. These holier than thous who don’t like swearing have no compuction against lying, cheating, stealing and threatening. Good thing I had already gone to the RCMP and filed a formal complaint against them.
