I’ve been coming to Glazing Pot for a little over two years now with my preschool aged son.
The owner is fantastic with children. I’ve come to at least a half dozen small preschool aged group classes now and she managed to engage the children and I’ve never seen a meltdown once in her classes.
She comes up with projects that are easy for children yet the finished product is nice enough to proudly display in your home.
I cannot recommend Glazing Pot Studio enough.

When you can get a wiggly group of preschoolers to create projects that actually look like the teacher’s example, you know you’ve got a good (and patient) instructor. I was extremely impressed by the quality of preparation that went into making the hour-long session run smoothly. There were toys waiting for early arrivals, a good story-time, and then painting time. Aprons for each child, each setting with everything they’d need, and well-paced steps to follow. Obviously there’s a lot of know-how in play here — I really recommend the special sessions for other ages as well. Kids have fun and feel they’ve done something «good» — a winner all-around.
