This store is really great if you’re a surfer, skate boarder, snowboarder, skier, etc. They put a twist on the regular skater clothing with edgy styles that are still wearable. I spent a good couple of hours here. And walked away with a tight floral mini skirt, a loose Obey tank and a maxi dress. All for about $ 80, I thought it was a good deal. The staff are good looking and well mannered. Very chill and great for checking out their clothing if you need inspiration. Best of all, they’ve got a number of in house DJs that spin sick tracks. The guy performing while I was there made me never wanna leave the store! It was like a club at 5 in the afternoon. And, they often have events immediately outside the store(especially on weekends). While I was there, they were having a BBQ. If you mention to the cashier that you’re checking in or tweeting the store, he’ll give you tax off your purchase!

Ballistic is a nice shop in a set of about three on that definitely bring in that cool factor to Water Street. Some hotter brands like The Hundreds caught my eye from the street and there were more inside to match. I didn’t realize it was more a skater/board shop that just general fashion so there wasn’t a whole lot for me once I got inside but depending on your personal swagger, this may be the jackpot for your wardrobe. That said, it was a bit of an odd balance between sport and style — maybe an identity crisis in the making? Rad for accessories like sunglasses, bags, etc.
