Madelyn’s Diner was established in October 1985, by Madelyn and Rob McGorman, along with their children Krista and Andy. Our first location was located down the street from where we are today, at 422 Huron Street, right across the street from The Beer Store, which was our «slogan» for the time we were in that building. In 1989, our clientele and business had out-​grown this location, and the move was made to where we are located today at 377 Huron Street, «right down the street from The Beer Store».

Since the very beginning, we have prided ourselves in home-​style cooking, fast-​friendly service, and lots of fun. The faces have changed over the years, the menu has also changed occasionally, but the main focus has always remained, fast-​friendly service with Good Food and fun!

Breakfast is served all day, Fish is battered to order, buttertarts baked FRESH daily! We accept Cash or Interac NO Credit Cards, and are no longer Licenced. Same good food and fun though!

Thanks for stopping by, I’m glad you came! My name is Krista Moore, also know as mini-​Madelyn or by my staff as The Dragon. HA! Don’t let the name scare you I’m actually not a dragon, but I can be fire-​breathing at times. My Mom is «THE» Madelyn, of Madelyn’s Diner, I have worked alongside of my Mom for over 25 years now, and this year decided it was time for the Momma to lay down her flipper, and rolling pin and enjoy some retirement time.

I am the proud Mom of 5 incredibly beautiful daughters, ranging in ages from 19 to 5 years old, they are truly the light of my life. If I’m not behind the grill, baking tarts or chatting with the customers, chances are I am on a soccer field somewhere cheering on my girls or husband.
