5 stars is too little for this gem! This place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. Their tandoori chicken is pretty flavorful and I definitely recommend trying it out as well. The fried chicken isn’t oily whatsoever its like air fried or something. It’s so delicious and feels so light (even though its not technically lol) My favorite place to eat when I go to Surrey. Be sure to go here!

Barney’s is great for halal pizzas and fried or tandoori chicken. My favorites are the hot and spicy pizza which is loaded with lots of meat and jalapeños and the the tandoori chicken pizza with pineapple added. The staff (a family?) are always really friendly and try to serve you quickly. Just try not to come at lunch time because they get super busy and it can take a while for your order.

Barney’s has the best Tandoori chicken in Surrey! Full of flavor and made just right! The downside is the wait times because it’s one guy manning the entire restaurant; but it’s worth it after devouring your meal. Also, when you order meals at night, you may not be able to get all the sides you want because they run out and don’t make more that that evening. Also, you’re not allowed to make any substitutions or upgrades (swap out fries for wedges) which means you have to purchase it separately.
This place has great chicken (fried or tandoori) and at a great price so I’ll definitely be back.
