Chefs Kebab

Great find! New to the area and thought I’d try it out and I will definitely be ordering from here again. I ordered rice, butter chicken, 2 pain naan, and veggie samosas (2) and it came with a small salad and chick peas. Bill came to 20 bucks and it fed 2 hungry adults and leftovers!

Agree 100% with Deanna P’s review — we picked this place randomly because we were driving by and in the mood for kebab, and what a pleasant surprise! We had flavorful and fresh chicken biryani, very tasty veggie samosa, and the lamb kebab was perfectly cooked and quite flavorful. Staff was friendly, minimal wait time — a treat!

We love to dine at Chef’s Kebab before or after we take advantage of the wonderful produce at TWO EE’s Farm. The lunch special is 6.99 I believe and it includes: Soup, a small salad, naan, rice and your chosen dish. I love the fact that the menu is laid out in an organized fashion and there are plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. I like starting out my meal with a Vegetable Samosa order, which comes with 2 samosas, 2 different kind of chutneys and a small bowl of Chana Masala. They are exceptionally made with a balanced flavour and artisan quality.
The service is good and the wait staff is very prompt. The only reason I have missed one star is because visually, it needs work. The paint at the bar is chipping away and the exterior of the business has «Chef’s kebab now open» spray painted in a very hasty, unprofessional manner. If they maintained it a little bit better and fixed it up it would earn that one extra star. That’s all that’s missing!

I’m impressed. Tried it for the first time while the car is getting serviced at Kia. The place may not attract you from the outside but it has a really nice setup inside. Prompt and courteous service. Loved the goat curry! Generous portion, too! Will definitely be back.

Great little place. an absolute hidden gem… having dined in Indian restaurants throughout the world. I’d say their Chicken Tikka Afghani is amongst the best kebab dishes I’ve ever eaten… Ever!
They have a very well priced lunch menu. Try the biryani.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this little «Mom & Pop» restaurant. With fantastic lunch specials, and delicious dinner options, Chef’s Kebab has really provided a perfect place to grab a tasty batch of Indian food. From vegetarian to savory lamb or chicken dishes, they can accommodate everything from super mild to a nice fiery spice.
Drop by for a lunch special Chana masala sometime or a goat curry, you won’t be disappointed.

My second time eating from this place, Food was OK… not spicy at all even when asked for. price is average for this area… But delivery service was just horrible. A hour late on top of the 45 min regular wait time. Atleast they called after the first 45min to try n blame the Just Eat app for the delay… but not buying that excuse. Not impressed.

One of the best Indian restaurants at an attractive price point. While I was working in the area I used to frequent it quite often for their lunch specials and other family gatherings. They are fairly isolated and don’t appear to receive a lot of foot traffic but don’t let that stop you from eating at this hidden gem.

It was our first time here we came from North Vancouver saw the ad in Asian newspaper and had lunch.
We are glad we came here.
Excellent food very fresh and tasty, the server was a young girl who was very pleasant, we had a great time and the price was very reasonable.

Hidden gem in Surrey. I am a frequent visitor from SoCal. I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in this area. This one stood out. Don’t expect any ambience but good food and good service stole the show. Kebabs are die for. I am a foodie, that too an Indian foodie. I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed with their kebabs. Coffee after dinner was also really good.

Avoid. I tried to use a two-​for-​one coupon here and they refused to honor it, blaming the coupon company. The kicker is, typically Online coupon companies require an owners approval and signing off before they post a coupon. Bare minimum any business owner with a shred of acumen would do the checking on their own as soon as the coupon was posted. The food tasted okay-​ish, but it was pretty cold comfort at that point if you know what I mean.
Management made no effort to apologize or come to some kind of reasonable solution.
The lamb kebabs are ground lamb, and they forgot the rice. Sorry pal, three strikes and you’re out!

Decent food, lunch portions for the curry and butter chicken were a little small I had naan leftover which is unusual for Indian food

Came here tonight with my boyfriend. It was our first time here.
We found out about this place from a coupon on social shopper so we read some reviews and thought May as well try it. We are glad we came!
We really enjoyed it a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous. We will definitely come here again.

For an Indian place in Surrey, this is the place to go for a good quiet business meeting. It’s not really all Indian (think more Hindu than Sikh), as the feel to it is some Pakistani as well.
You will like it too if TV’s are your thing, there must’ve been a half-​dozen or so yet it’s not a bar atmosphere. A cozy medium-​size restaurant, with nice booths on the left. And a private section in the back too.
Was here only for a casual biz meeting, ordered the mango lassi which passed the test, and surprise surprise, their specialty is their kebabs.
They offer delivery for most of Surrey, which is amazing in itself, albeit with a high minimum $ 35. At these prices, that’s a heckuva lot of food for 1 person lol.
Kinda hard to find, especially if you’re coming the opposite way as there’s an island in this busy road, so you have to make a U, beside some car dealership. Has its own parking lot.

I have been their few times already. Consistency be the challenge to this place.
Food is quite tasty. You get great tasty food with good portions if you were to eat there however several time s my takeout orders failed impress me. For example my chicken Buriyani take out order had only one small cut of chicken. Felt cheated.
Sometimes I get really knowledgable staff help you pick meal from the menu. Other times no so much.
There you go consistency challenge. Hope they will improve it.

Tried out this place because of the reviews. Ordered a butter chicken lunch combo with medium spice. didnt taste any spice at all. i liked the lunch tray. naans were alright. i would like to try the kebabs here as they look appetizing but other than that it was unimpressive.

Good traditional Indian food. Nice and friendly people serving. Food was little bit salty for my taste. Otherwise good experience.

This hidden gem blew my dick off. There are so many restaurants on Scott Road but I ended up at this small cozy joint. The lunch specials are awesome at $ 6.99 but my favorite dishes there are the chicken korma, paneer pakora and veg manchurian. I stuffed myself silly here by being extra greedy and ordering multiple baskets of garlic naan. This resulted in a massive food coma and the need of stretchy pants. The korma was very well done but next time I will ask for no nuts on top. This is just a personal preference as some may like the crunch it brings to the dish. I ordered the lamb kebabs which were executed perfectly and I am anxious to try the other kebabs. The food exceeded my expectations but it was the service that put it over the top.
