Fondé en 2003.

Michelle Kumar had been involved with rescue organizations prior to becoming a Certified Dog Trainer in 2003. Her passion to help save dogs lead her to a career in training dogs and understanding dog behavior. Now a well respected dog trainer in the community Michelle has helped hundreds of dogs and owners achieve excellent dog training and behavior modification results.

Michelle Rushton-​Kumar grew up in Richmond, British Columbia. It was as a child that Michelle developed a love of animals. However, it was a relationship with her own family pet dog that sparked an interest in training dogs and working specifically with them.

In 2003 Michelle attended Canada West Canine Center, School for Dog Trainers in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. (The first government recognized school in British Columbia) and graduated with honors from the Master Trainer. From there Michelle continued her work with rescue dogs through all types of rescue organizations. With her devoted love to help dogs of all breeds she became to realize the great need of understanding and applying dog behavior techniques and not only training techniques. Michelle has studied dog behavior for many years and continues to attend seminars and conferences to better educate herself and to pass this knowledge along to her clients.
