Overpriced yet clean. Nice newer equipment and clean place but the prices and dry times suck. Cost to wash was $ 4.50 for the dual load washer and 25 cents for 3 mins in the dryer. Not horrible but when it took over and hour to dry what usually takes me 30-ish mins… More than a little irritated. I even split my loads and it still took nearly $ 10 to dry everything. $ 13 – 14 to clean my usual weekly load that on average costs me $ 7. Could have done it at my hotel for that kind of $$ and been much more convenient.

Laundromats are so cool, a throwback to time where it was expensive to own a modern convenience. Ok I admit I’m newb when it comes to using a commercial washing machine. Fortunately the person working there was friendly and helped me along the way. Why was I here in the first place? I had 2 massive loads of blankets to do. The upright washer at home, is no match for the powa of a commercial grade front load washer. Oddly though the place is called Maytag Coin laundry but I didn’t see any Maytag branded machines. Must have been using Maytag before. The front load wash machine were updated Electrolux branded machines. Washers were on one side and dryers on the other side. This place offers(for the spoiled :)) a full serve wash for add’t fee of course, where they can wash, dry and fold your clothes. I Cost was $ 4.50 to wash(entire cycle took 30min), .25 cents for 5 minutes of drying. Going to the laundromat saved me a lot of time and energy. Plus it was kind of cool to visit. The blankets came out sparkling fresh and clean. I’ll be making the trip here to do some heavy loads all in one go.
