We are a wife & husband team dedicated to providing you and your pet with the best personalized service possible. Absolutely Dog is a full service Dog Walking and Pet Care business. With twelve and eight years experience individually and twenty years expereince collectively we are dedicated to giving your pet a great environment to become a well socialized, happy and healthy dog!

Absolutely Dog is built on two foundational principles. The first is SAFETY. This allows us to confidently provide a stimulating, fun and nurturing environment for our canine clients. The second is to cultivate a relationship with our human clients that is built on TRUST. We believe that trust can be earned through consistency and by communicating on a regular basis with our clients.

Historique

Fondé en 2000.

Paola started Out & About Dog Walking Services Inc. as an extension of her volunteer work helping find homes for dogs in need. «Wouldn’t it be cool to spend the day with dogs and pay the bills?» was the inspiration for starting her own dog walking service. In December 2000 with a flyer in a local Second Cup she acquired her first client — Shayna, a Sealyham Terrier. By 2004 the demand for Paola’s services became more than she alone could handle. Sooo, Out & About became a wife & husband team and over time morphed in to Absolutely Dog — a full service pet care business. What started off as a way to make some extra money has become a full time (and then some!) career.

‘Our hour starts in the park, not in the car.“

I came up with this little decree over eight years ago. At the time we were not actually thinking about what principles we would live by but the preceding line was our first stated principle. It was as much of a reaction to those who clearly are misleading their clients as it was a pronouncement. As I look at it now it is more than I thought of at the time. It not only states that we, in fact, will spend an hour in the park. It also says that we will do what we say we will do. «Don’t worry, you can TRUST us.»
