August 2, 2015 Today was another long day. After having a dinner at Yonge Sushi, we walked down along Yonge street. Then we found the Alexander Muir Memorial Garden! We are not from the neighbour so we were glad that we checked it out. The garden was very quiet. We didn’t see many people walking around the gardens. There were a few people that were reading and doing stuff on their laptops. We were there around 8.30pm so it was quite dark. Those high trees in the dark somehow spooked me out haha: D However I can’t deny that the garden looks very peaceful. It can be a relaxing spot for many people who love being close with nature. I also learnt later that the name of the gardens are named after Alexander Muir, the composer of the National Song«The Maple Leaf Forever»! Isn’t that interesting?

A lovely little park just south of Lawrence and east of Yonge. Walk through the old gate on Yonge, go a few steps down, and you will find yourself in a nice flower garden full of lavender and roses. Sit on one of many benches and enjoy the view and the smell. If you decided to proceed east, you will find some tennis and lawn bowling courts, and if you go further, you will make it the Blythwood Ravine park.
