I went this place to rent a U haul truck. After lining up behind other customers, they noticed me waiting and in 30sec. got to start booking. I left email and cell phone number, after a couple of hours email confirmation. I read reviews of other horror stories, when on your day of moving the truck is not available; so it seems too easy here, so I checked twice if everything is OK with my booked date, the staff confirmed.
Still a bit skeptical, on my booked date I showed up (20 min late) and everything went smoothly, I got the U haul truck that I asked for. The charges were less than what they estimated initially, …so I am really happy with this place, and would use it again.
I actually used their U haul trucks for my friends moving several times, but I never booked or payed, just drove their rental U haul trucks. Never a problem with bookings.
Last week was first time I was moving myself, and no problems at all. Thanks

Great experience. Rented a truck online and completed the express check-​in and was in the rental office and in the truck in under 10 min.
The place was very convenient and the staff was very helpful.

All Canadian earns two stars for its good staff and being reasonably clean and well lit. That score is much lower than its current 4.7 average, but pay attention to how many of its glowing reviews are for its truck rental service, or the larger ground floor storage units. If you are planning to rent a smaller, closet-​sized storage unit, your experience will be much less pleasant…
STAIRS — The closet-​sized storage units are all on the second floor, up a VERY long flight of stairs (the ground floor has a very high ceiling), and there’s NO ELEVATOR. (Most of you want to rent here because it’s so much closer than the cheap places in the suburbs, but you need to factor in the HOURS you will spend hauling your heavy boxes up all those stairs, instead of renting a place where you can drive right up to the unit.) You get up to the second floor by way of a door on the side of the building. You have to wait in line and ask a staffer to unlock that door every time — they don’t give you a key. After the employee unlocks the door, you will have to prop it open with a DIRTY ROCK they leave lying around. One time, the door BROKE and wouldn’t open (possibly related to being crudely propped open with a ROCK all the time?) so I had to carry my stuff in through the whole building. The staff helped me (hence the two stars) but how poorly does a building have to be maintained for its DOOR to stop working?
HOURS — Have you looked at their site? Did you notice how they don’t post their hours prominently? That’s because it shuts down at 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 5 p.m. (FIVE!) on weekends. Do you think that your move will go SO smoothly that you will definitely get ALL your stuff in or out of the unit before FIVE, keeping in mind that LONG flight of stairs that you’ll be hauling each box up/​down?! Well, it won’t! The fact that your storage unit keeps old timey BANKER hours will be a HUGE nuisance!
PAYMENT — I didn’t sign up with a credit card, and they didn’t have ANY option to pay the monthly bill through online banking (but hey, I was renting here allll the way back in 2014 /​s), so I had to make the trek all the way to this place several times to pay in person just because they didn’t have a basic service that’s been standard elsewhere for YEARS.
GETTING WET — There is a nice little garden in the front of the building. I began to resent that garden after the time that I arrived hauling a heavy suitcase and found that a sprinkler had been setup spraying across the only ramp up to the main entrance, forcing me to get soaked on my way in. (Did I mention that they don’t care about their customers, or at least not as much as their sunflowers?)
PARTIES — I once had problems accessing my unit because access to the storage units was going to be cut off early that night because there was going to be some kind of political gala held in the garage area of the building. (Why?!) Shamefully, there was no email warning about this. (That would require the company to have basic respect for its customers!)
DRIVING — If you are driving there from the north, it is very difficult to turn into their parking lot.
Finally, those storage units aren’t sealed at the top, so anyone with a ladder could easily access the unit.
Don’t repeat my mistake! Rent somewhere else!

Great experience! The staff here are knowledgeable and happy to help. There is a clean nice washroom and water cooler, a pop machine as well. They are also a U haul location and so can help you with arranging most aspects of a move. They also have the benefit of indoor loading and unloading as long as you don’t have a huge truck. Facility is very secure.
The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the upstairs storages have no elevator or ramp. However they are very affordable units.

Drive in self storage… how great is that during the winter?! Very clean property, great staff, and the most easily accessible storage place I’ve been to. Pricing is competitive but they would be worth a premium.

We have a storage unit at All Canadian Self Storage on Laird in Leaside, Toronto. The is an all new drive through storage facility where you can drive your car indoors and right up to your storage locker. The staff there are super nice and the prices were very reasonable.
We have already recommended the place to our neighbours and would have no trouble recommending to anyone looking for a great self storage location.

After waiting for the manager for an hour so they could confirm the space that they said they had for me the day before, the desk clerk helped 3 other people and had me wait another 10 minutes after the call from the manager only to tell me that there was only a unit available on the second floor, and there is NO elevator.
Terrible customer service. Go anywhere but here.

Best self-​storage I’ve used by far.
I’ve had to use self-​storage for various reasons, but usually storing furniture before a move, after a move, in between moves. I’ve used Yellow and StorageMart, and was always concerned about security, and could visibly see rat droppings and broken glass in the hallways.
These people know what they’re doing. Employees actually seem to like working there. The facilities are sqeaky clean, you can drive through usually really close to your storage unit. It’s is temperature controlled and disinfected. It was also cheaper than the crappier alternatives.
And forget about stupid rules regarding pre-​payments, if you want to empty your unit today, you only pay until today, not the whole month.
