Food is good, coffee is decent. You will get kicked out after an hour is you only spend 10 $. Quote from manager: «I have customers waiting for a table, if you don’t order food you have to leave»

The open kitchen allows you to see how your food is made. I love that. What I don’t love is seeing the guy who’s making my food with gloves on touching all sorts of personal items, then lifting my sandwich to the plate with the same gloved hands. I wonder if he knows the gloves aren’t to keep his hands clean, but to keep my food from getting contaminated. I asked to talk to a manager, but apparently at 12:45 they have all left for the day. I then asked who was in charge and if they had a problem with that. The answer was, you asked for a new one and we will make it for you.

This place was nice, comfortable and clean. Had an Aroma Coffee, Latte and a BLT crossaint. Latte was good. Aroma coffee not so good — it tastes like hot chocolate. The BLT was pretty good with the drinks. The location is very busy and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Overall I’d revisit if I’m Bayview Village to try their other coffee drinks.

Not Impressed at all about my experience. It was noisy, unpleasant, and unfortunately the food wasn’t even that great. I don’t think it was just an off day, it seems like this is the way they run their business. I wish they had picked a larger location to move into the mall with.

I like Aroma Espresso Bar. Great place to have an espresso type coffee and a sweet and chill out a little. And of course, that piece of chocolate that comes with the coffee makes the experience so much more enjoyable. This is the first time I visited Bayview Village Location and maybe my last time. The food and service was excellent. I really enjoyed my Espresso Con Panna and Apple Cinnamon Danish. My advice though is to avoid this café if you see there is a line or if it is a full house. There are other cafes in the Mall if you want a coffee. It was passed lunch rush at around 2:30 pm on a weekday and this place was packed. People sat there after finishing their drinks/food and chatting away. Good luck in finding a table as no one was leaving and you have to fight for a table! There were some ladies almost got into a fight over a table and there was some pushing and shoving. Seriously, I would never have expected at Bayview Village Neighbourhood?!

I had their power breakfast here. The food was good and for the price the quantity is not bad. The service was prompt and we were lucky to get a seat during breakfast hours. However, I unfortunately found a piece of a plastic lid in my salad and told them about it to be more careful next time. It didn’t ruin my experience there, but wished I didn’t come across it.

I had there Quinoa salad and a cup of coffee. The salad was really good and getting a piece of chocolate is a brilliant idea with your coffee. It definitely hits the spot! Unfortunately the restaurant is really noisy and it gave me a headache. I’ll take out my order next time!

One of my favourite chains. I really recommend the iced Aroma — it’s an iced coffee with a hint of chocolate. They always serve their drinks with a small piece of chocolate, which is a nice touch. Their lattés and other coffees are also great. I enjoy stopping by for small pastries sometimes — including the coconut orange cake and the carrot cake. I love the atmosphere at Aroma — the staff are always pleasant and the food/drinks are always reliable across different locations. Definitely a great alternative to Starbucks or other generic chain coffee stores!

The menu is suitable for lunch with healthy choices available. However, it gets so busy and the space is very tight. Often times, cannot find seating. Especially difficult when you show up looking for a table of 4(2 adults+ 2 kids). One time we had to split up at different tables across the restaurant. Would like to give this place my business, but I keep walking when I see the the crowding.

I always enjoy my stay at aroma, why? Something about the atmosphere. It’s not stuck up yet it’s not just a cheap coffee shop. They have drinks, soups, sandwiches and salads. I usually get a drink, soup and salad or a drink soup and sandwich(big meal I know). Very rewarding after a workout. Customer service– they don’t make you stand and wait there. Give your name and they’ll call you when your food is ready. Choices seem to be healthier than most. Vegetarian options available as well. They have wifi!

As a Canadian who has been living in Australia for three years I was surprised to come back to Toronto and find an Aroma on practically every street corner. My mum happens to be a Huge fan, and consequently I’ve been at least three times this week. The Bayview Village location is always incredibly busy, which can be annoying in terms of finding a seat, but which is also a testament to how yummy it is. This morning I had the double combo, with half a sandwich and a salad(you can also choose soup). It was reasonably priced at just over 8 $, and it was delicious and also so filling that I had to take my quinoa salad home. The breakfast foods are also yummy and a great value, and you always feel full and healthy afterwards. The staff members are always friendly and helpful(this morning one of the gentlemen helped us to find a booth table). I know my mum and I will be back… probably tomorrow …

Aroma Coffee Chain from Israel. Now at Bayview Village. Super like! The goods: — Good latte. Smooth, velvety, and fair priced. Comes with a small chocolate piece on the side. What’s not to like? — Healthy yet super TASTY salads. Try the tomato mozzarella one or the quinoa one — Iced coffee drinks also yum — Lots of seating but also lots of people. There’s a reason why they are so popular! The not so good: — Only one outlet plug for laptops in the entire shop. If it’s taken, well too bad. Suggestion: Install a few more! Will help keep your non rush times filled with people who will happily come and«work» on their laptops!

I was so excited that Aroma was opening up at Bayview Village. Their food is fresh and I love the selection of sandwiches and salads. The only downside is that this place can get a bit busy and you might not get a seat right away. You will have to loiter and wait for someone to leave to snag a table. Other than that, two thumbs up for some coffee and a quick bite to eat.

First sign of a good place: packed. Second sign: random old man welcoming you and seating you(I am still not 100% sure he worked there…) Third sign: Everyone is having a good time. The new revamp of Bayview Village has seen the expansion of many yuppy approved places. Aroma is no different. The food was solid. I had the albacore tune on whole grain and then a side salad with tahini sauce. The sandwich fantastic. Skip the chopped salad. It started off nice but with the tahini had an awful after taste. The coffee there is amazing. Try the cappucino with a signature chocolate croissant. Bön appetite!!! P. S. Aroma has its flagship location at Bathurst and Bloor… They also have a new location on Queen, West of Spadina. I’ve only had afternoon snacks at those locations but you can never go wrong with the croissant. P. S.S. Your coffee comes with a piece of chocolate, that goes in your coffee.

One of the newer additions of the chain café, Aroma’s Bayview Village opened in mid-Dec 2012. Food: Quality of the food is the same as its other location and I am still a fan of their different salads, sandwiches, and americano. Chopped salad, quinoa salad, and sweet potato salad remain my favourite and I kept going back to the portobello sandwich. Ambience: The location is very crowded and very noisy. It can be hard to get a seat. There was less kids compared to Shops at Don Mills. However I prefer to go to Shops at Don Mills or Yonge/Eg just because I don’t like that it is inside the mall and the air gets stuffy. There are no windows to sunlight or patio seats — just to consider if you find that important. Don’t think you can sit for a long time because people here aren’t afraid to ask you if you are leaving soon or not. Service: Service was alright the few times I was here.
