I am from the US and needed to have a phone fix for a client. Not only did I get the phone the next day when there was still and temp issue it was quickly resolved. I was very impressed with their help and will surely do business again with them if the need arises for my clients.

TLDR: Brought in laptop for easy service job, they screwed up something else small while they had it open. They handled it pretty well when I brought it back in, though I had to press them to have it repaired right away and get a small discount for the mistake.

I have to give these guys a measured review. I hesitate to recommend them whole-​heartedly, but I’ll probably be back. I’ll share my experience and you can judge for yourself.
I went there to have the DC jack on my ASUS k53s (notebook) replaced. It is a common problem with this model, it had been replaced once already by the manufacturer, but the laptop was now past warranty. The job is fairly simple involving just the de-​soldering of the old jack and soldering a new one in.
I explained all this over email and they were exceptionally speedy in replying and answering my follow-​up questions. They said they could do it in one or two days for $ 125-​$ 150. That is a reasonable price. I dropped it off and was happy with my initial interactions with them.
Two days later they called, emailed, and texted me to let me know the computer was ready (that in my mind is excellent customer service). I went in just before they were closing to pick it up. I dealt with different person than I had dropped it off with. He was helpful enough though a bit dismissive and aloof. They showed me in the store that the laptop was charging properly again, and I happily took my laptop home.
As soon as I got it home and tested it out I noticed that the left touchpad/​mouse button was not working. Everything else about the touchpad worked fine, it just wasn’t registering left-​clicks. They had clearly messed something up when they were working on it. I hoped that it was simply a driver problem or setting change, and spent hours trying to solve it myself. Nothing worked so I knew it must be internal and would have to bring it back.
I brought it back in the next day, and explained what had happened. First he asked how urgently I needed the computer back saying that he wouldn’t be able to get it back until Tuesday (I was there on a Saturday). I told him that I wanted him to fix it right now. He hesitated, and we were interrupted by a phone call that he answered. While on the phone he began tinkering. After he hung up he asked if I had 10 mins while he checked to see if it was a simple fix or not. I said of course.
After a short while he explained that a wire connecting the left button had been bent during the opening and closing. We tested to make sure it was working fully, and then as he was putting it all back together I said that I expected some kind of discount for the inconvenience of coming all the way back down for something that they had done to my computer. He asked what I expected and I said $ 25 would be fair. He countered with $ 20 which I accepted.
Through all of this we both remained cordial and matter-​of-​fact. He was never apologetic but neither was he defensive. I have to say that I respect the way he handled it. Though I had to press him to do the right thing.
So I’m still not sure if I’ll return, since I don’t know how confident I can be in the quality of the work, but I think the knocking loose of a wire is a simple mistake anyone could make and is probably excusable. I’ll probably give them another shot in the future.

I got all kinds of crazy quotes from places looking to repair my broken galaxy s5 screen. They were onw of the better prices and super convenient location and timing.

Fast, friendly service at a reasonable price to fix my cracked iPhone. Going back tomorrow with the iPad with a crack in it!

Would highly recommend the guys here, With 3o minutes left until they closed i called to see if the were able to replace a screen on a iPhone 6 which had just been dropped. They said sure come on down and it took us 15 min to get there, but they stayed open to get the screen replaced for an additional 30 minutes. Would highly recommend them for the work they do and the excellent customer service

So far? Really impressed. I had a space bar go on an older model Dell. Dell could not help me. Ask could. Within a day, had the new keyboard, and took 20 minutes to install. $ 100. Only issue is the keyboard is not backlighting the way it did, as it is not exactly the same. Never mind. They solved it. Fast.

I happened to be passing by Ask Computers on my way to the market. My Samsung Note II has had a massive spiderweb crack on the screen since July of last year! I figured I’d pop in and see if there was anything they could do. There was! My phone is older, so they didn’t have the part required to get 1-​hour service. Instead they hooked me up with a loaner phone and when my phone was ready (same day), they drove it to my home (mid-​town Toronto) to deliver it to my door.
Service was wonderful — very polite and informative. I could not be happier with the service. If I ever have phone problems again, I’ll be back (but I hope I won’t have to).

I’m a journalist and I had several important interviews recorded on my Moto G phone (Of course I failed to back them up.) I accidentally dropped the phone into the toilet. I was frantic and tried all the well– known methods to dry it out, but the phone wouldn’t even turn on-​only the small notification light worked. I was desperate! Ask Computers were able to retrieve the interviews in less than a day! They were caring, considerate and worked very hard. I recommend them highly!

Went into the store to fix my phones with a limited budget, Max from the store was very willingly to answer my questions about the repair. I had to choose between a broken g2 or nexus and he gave me helpful feedback on the best bet to which phone to fix. Fixed my phone at a very reasonable price and had the phone fixed within 30 minutes. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ for service, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would come back int he future.

I made a few amateur mistakes when trying to upgrade my laptop which resulted in a stripped screw and more work that should have been necessary. These guys had a good rating so I called in to get a quote and then stopped in on my way back from work. He showed me what I did wrong, and how it should have been handled. He then rectified the problem and completed the upgrade for a lower price than originally quoted.
I was in and out in under 10 minutes and learned some things that will be useful in future upgrades. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Bought a chrger for my macbook there and it just fell apart the day after I bought it. Returned it and had to fight for a «refund voucher» cause it was a mechanical defect. The voucher was only valid for 1 month — not the best customer service.

Small business but he knows his stuff, only downside is his limited inventory but it not a big business or store so I don’t hold that against him.
I came in a few time just to get a new charger for my laptop, once i need to get my harddrive repaired which was no problem

Smashed my iphone screen… First time in many years of owning iPhones. I got 3 quotes and this was the cheapest (in fact it was half the price of what irepair quote!)
Things seem to be as good as new now.
Only complaint was that I had to leave the phone there all day… I thjnk because the guy who works on the iPhone repair wasn’t at the store till late that day. But based on other reviews this may be a one off

They repaired my iphone charging port and camera for $ 90 within a couple of houirs where the Apple store wouldn’t even look @ it telling me to buy another iphone for $ 400 and Bell wanting to charge me same for a new phone and increasing my service plan by $ 10 a monthl to upgrade !! Riz and Max were great to deal with! Thanks to them I saved over $ 300 and have my own phone which I like back…

I recently dropped my 1-​month old LG G2 (white) at my friend’s home and it cracked the screen. To begin, I can’t give them any less than a 5 based on the speed and effort they put into getting my phone back to new! I actually had to replace my screen twice.
Based on the quotes I received for the repair, they were the best. As well, they were able to get the phone back to me the fastest. My all-​white LG G2 unfortunately could not be all-​white anymore since they weren’t able to find me a white screen. Having a black front and white back actually turned out to be better than I had thought.
When I got my phone back, I was excited. To my disappointment, I found a small defect in the screen (a cloudy white spot) when I turned off my phone. I immediately notified them and they promptly replied back to me. I brought it back to them the next day and they had no issues in getting it replaced again. They gave me an estimate of 1 week and they met their time without much issue!
If I ever need repairs down the road (hopefully not major), I’m coming back here again!

These guys were just great. I came in at 5pm, worried that my smashed iPhone screen wouldn’t be replaced by the time they closed at 7pm. They fixed it in a half-​hour. New screen. Seamless work. Would never have known it wasn’t the original, pre-​smashed glass.
After dropping it off, I decided to wait across the street at The Jason George (a pub). Upon hearing this, the gent from Ask Computers offered to come over and let me know when the repair was done (since I couldn’t be reached on my iPhone; ha). He did.

Why I chose ASK Computers: I was disappointed by the waiting times to schedule an appointment at the Eaton Centre Apple Store. I turned to a third party service and chose ASK because of very positive reviews on google.
Customer Experience: Very positive results with this shop. The service was friendly and professional, and the repair was exceptional (looks brand new). Best of all, the whole process took less than 24 hours.
Overall: I highly recommend this shop for any Mac repairs. While the replacement part was expensive, it is less than I would have paid through Apple and the turn around time was significantly faster.
