Yumm, big soft fluffy pretzels, perfectly salted, and they offer you extra butter too!

I’m pleasantly surprised about this place. Had constantly walked by but never tried it. Decided to go grab an afternoon snack after having a light Friday lunch. I’ve never been a pastry/​baking person but I’ve got to say I love what I had. Ordered a cinnamon sugar pretzel and my initial thought was it probably tasted like bagel but I was wrong. The pretzel is slightly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Added cinnamon sugar complements it well and overall it’s decent afternoon treat. For under 3 dollars I get a fresh, tasty snack. The service is pleasant and warm. I’ll definitely visit again when I crave for quick snack in the future.

Absolutely amazing panini sandwiches, smoothies, pretzels and even better service. I am in town from NYC doing a show down the street and I have come here every day. The blueberry pineapple smoothie and cheddar chicken sandwich are my favorites. They even gave me a free cookie on my last day– hope to be back soon!

Popped in for a pretzel and a smoothie and left very satisfied.
The pretzels are buttery, fluffy and delicious. These are not your typical mall-​style, hard and salty pretzels. I went with the basic salted pretzel. Just the right amount of salt for me. They offer you extra butter if you want, but I passed.
The smoothie was tasty and filling as well. I got a large mango pineapple smoothie and it did the job. Cold, tasty and filling. Worth the $ 4.50 as I could taste the fresh fruit.
Service is fast and considerate. Great place to go for a snack if you’re around Bloor and Bathurst.

I have never understood why people like pretzels, but this place changed me. I’m a convert. Anytime I’m in the area I make a point of stopping in and grabbing a fresh, crispy, fluffy, delicious, butter pretzel! At around $ 3 (some are even less I think) it’s hard to restrain myself from getting a second.
Soooo worth it in the neighbourhood. Looks like a chain, but isn’t. The smoothies are good too!

My new favourite place!
The owner is very nice! We talked a lot about how her business in Toronto, when everyone’s here is so cryptical about pretzels, assuming that the taste must be horrible because they usually eat the frozen pretzels bought in grocery. Really, stop assuming that every pretzels are the same.
This one is absolutely the best pretzels I’ve ever tasted! Only $ 2.5 for a super big pretzels, it’s my brunch and I’m fully satisfied until dinner. I ordered the smoothie too, the taste is so refreshing.
Also you can get a homemade cookies for only $ 1 and don’t forget to try the dog pretzels, it’s a hotdog pretzels that only cost me $ 3.5. It’s big and so tasty! It’s better than $ 4 hotdog you buy elsewhere.
Stop assuming guys, you need to try it! It will change your mind.

If this review was just for the pretzels and smoothies it would be an easy 4 or 5 stars. However, the sloooooowness and relative forgettable-​ness of the sandwiches takes this place to 3 stars in my opinion. I definitely recommend it for the pretzels and smoothies, though, they are fresh and tasty! I think they need more staff if they want to keep going with the sandwiches. The wait time on one sandwiches can be up to 15 mins if a couple other people are also in there waiting for sandwiches, and it’s not really worth it when the sammies aren’t anything special.

Came in on a whim after work as a treat since soft pretzels are one of my favorite snacks in the world. I ordered a salted pretzle with mustard, and a banana/​strawberry/​peach smoothie with a multivitamin boost ($ 6.76, great price!) The smoothie was great, nice smooth consistency without being overly sweet. Best part is that there’s no dairy in there and therefore lactose intolerant-​friendly. The pretzle was still warm from the oven, big portion with perfects twists and an enticing golden shell. Tearing into it with my fingers reveals a buttery, crunchy skin and chewy soft inside. They don’t oversalt the pretzle which is terrific since it allows the natural flavourful of the dough to come through. The owner was super sweet, insisted on wiping down the counter for me since I had a stack of office mail with me at the time and even advised me to keep them on the seat till the counter dried. I will most definitely be back for more, maybe give the cheese pretzle a shot the next time.

Hidden little gem right in my neighbourhood! The BEST pretzels I’ve ever had. I’ve also had about half the smoothies on the menu and they are nothing short of delicious! You gotta go get one of each. Right now.

I’d heard that this little spot (located next to Wine Rack and attached to Honest Ed’s) was surprisingly good. It seems to be one of those places that you’d have to hear about from someone or from some article because it looks pretty generic from the outside. It’s branded like a bland mall chain instead of the authentic German pretzel mom-​and-​pop shop that it is.
There is a nice lady who makes everything fresh for you and I devoured a delicious pretzel (plus a smoothie) while chatting with her. She told me that old-​fashioned pretzels don’t seem to be as popular here as they are in the states where she used to have her shop. We’re living in a gluten-​phobic society right now. Anyway, whenever you’re having an «evil» white flour snack attack, go for a bite & sip!
They are cheap too. In the age of 7 dollar ice-​cream sandwiches and designer doughnuts, it’s nice that a bunch of Koreatown businesses offer tasty treats at reasonable prices, for example, P.A.T.‘s Bungeoppang/​Tayaki (1.49) and now these hot and buttery soft pretzels (2.49).

So this place was here for awhile before I ever walked in, because I kept noticing the beautiful looking pretzels in the window didn’t look like the standard ones you find in chain. I was right! They’re warm and chewy, I get the plain ones with salt. They’re awesomely satisfying! Milka, the (friendly and kind) owner is great, and uses all real ingredients (not chemical mix) and makes the pretzels fresh herself. I haven’t had a chance to try other things on the menu, but I’d bet they’re pretty good! I may get out of my pyjamas and run on over… Seriously, you need to go here. Don’t waste your money on crappy pretzels you can find elsewhere. These are the best I’ve had in Toronto (and possibly NYC)!

Walking by, you can already smell the pretzels from afar. I got a freshly made pretzel while walking by one afternoon. The plain pretzel has a nice crisp crust. It’s not sickeningly buttery, and the plain is perfect, paired with generic cheddar cheese dip. It’s nice and warm, and chewy on the inside. I got one that was freshly made. This is how a soft pretzel should be. At 2.49 for a plain pretzel — it’s a steal. The pretzels are MASSIVE.
Yup, I’ll be spending my allowance money on pretzels from here from now on.

I was running errands when I walked past a lady giving away pretzel samples. One taste and i knew i would be grabbing one on the way home. These pretzels are soooo amazingly buttery and fluffy with just the right amount if salt. Great addition to the neighbourhood! You’ll have to look closely to find them as the store looks like it’s a part of Honest Ed’s. Looking forward to going back to try their smoothies.

Pretzels are unbelievable. This place is a bit out of my area but I have come here specifically for the pretzels. I sometimes dream about them. I can’t stress enough how good these are. They’re 2.50 and are basically a meal! May be one of the best deals in the city. Buttery, chewy, salty, golden and delicious.
The owner is very sweet, when I asked her how she makes them, she said unassumingly that it’s very easy. When I tried to make them at home, I achieved no comparable result.
There are lots of sandwiches and smoothies and salads. Everything is priced reasonably. Great spot!

Bite & Sip serves up delicious smoothies and fresh out of the oven hand crafted pretzels! These pretzels are DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend Bite & Sip even if you DO HAVE gluten sensitivity. It’s worth the indigestion and possible weight gain! Just think, what you indulge in private is what you wear in public. I wear pretzels proudly! Pretzels are my Medal of Honor. Hello chunky bits!

Give this lady the Nobel Prize because she is an absolute genius with pretzels. Couple that with her amazing personality and walking into his place will automatically make your day 5 times better.
Her pretzels are PERFECT. Fresh, buttery with a slight crisp on the outside, heavenly fluffy on the inside. Her cinnamon sugar pretzel CHANGED MY DAMN LIFE and the plain one is a beautiful experience as well. The key though is to get these pretzel’s in the middle of the day when they are über fresh. I came here once at the end of the night to grab one and they were stale and kinda gross. Her end of the day pretzels do not do justice to her skill.
Her smoothies are dairy free with no sugar added (just the natural sugar from the fruits). I sampled some sort of berry concoction and came back to try her peach/​strawberry; it had a nice subtle flavor and was super refreshing. I was there once with my hands full from shopping at Honest Eds and this sweetheart owner held the door open for me as I left with my bounty.

Milka, the owner, is an absolute delight-​grab a coffee on your way to work, or a pretzel to prepare yourself for shopping, and you’ll have a new friend. The salads and smoothies are fresh, and you can have a half order for less than five dollars. A mid-​afternoon snack haven.

I tried their cheese pretzel and it was the fluffiest, tastiest, freshest pretzel I’ve ever had bar none. Smoothie was also creamy delicious (mango/​banana) and their sandwiches are an amazing deal as a «whole» is actually 2 individual sandwiches (versus «half») loaded with fresh veggies. YUM!
