I had a great experience at Bloor Optical. The sales staff can be a bit pushy to try to find you the right frame, but Dragana was amazing to work with and she really gave honest feedback about the frames I was trying. They are great frames, and I’m happy to be able to find a store in which to buy metal frames, as most places seem to carry mainly plastic. The cost was amazing — frames are fantastically priced around $ 150 – 200, and the lenses were half the price compared to Hakim Optical, and for a better quality, thinner lens! So, if youre planning to stop in at Hakim for new glasses, walk half a block east first, and go to Bloor Optical. Scratch-​proofing is included in the cost of all lenses, which start at under $ 100 for the pair. I’m very happy about the service I experienced here, and will definitely recommend this location to my friends!

I’ve been here twice and will definitely be a return customer. This is a busy office and has a no-​fuss vibe. There’s no real reception area to approach as you walk in, but the staff are friendly and courteous, as long as you’re OK with seeking someone out yourself to ask for help. I found the optometrist thorough and very nice. The services are also very affordable compared to others in the area!
