One of Canada’s Finest Summer Camps for Children ages 6 — 16
In a highly personalized, fun-filled and supportive environment, Kandalore’s aim is to develop in each camper an appreciation of nature, a healthy sense of self-esteem, an understanding of others and the necessary skills to become an effective leader.

Historique
Fondé en 1947.
Co-Ed since 1992 but originally established as a boys camp, Kandalore is a traditional Children’s summer camp located in the Haliburton Highlands. Kandalore is the original home of the Canadian Canoe Museum, founded by our past director and recipient of the Order of Canada, Kirk Wipper.

Dave has been the director at Kandalore since 1998. He has been involved in summer camps since he was 9 years old and is a past president of the Ontario Camps Association and a board member of the Canadian Camps Association. He is also actively involved in the community as a board member of the York North Basketball Association and the P.I.N.E. Project.
