Historique

Fondé en 2015.

Cats have always been a big part of our lives. In 1999, Peach (aka Red) and Onyx (aka Black Beauty) joined our homes and instantly stole our hearts. Having no children, our «Baby B’s» really were our kids.

In June 2015, we noticed changes in both Peach & Onyx. After a series of vet visits, the testing confirmed serious illnesses in both. After 16 ½ wonderful years, we had to say good bye — it was the most difficult act of love we could give them. Our hearts were broken. It’s because of Peach and Onyx, and our love of everything cats, that Cat Sitter Toronto has been launched.

After 16 years as an accountant, I have decided to leave the corporate world and spend my days doing something I truly love — caring for cats. Cat Sitter Toronto offers complete peace of mind for cat owners. Fully bonded, insured and certified in Pet First Aid, I will treat your cats as I did my own, with the TLC they deserve.

Charlene has been a great sitter to our cat Vector when my boyfriend and I decided to go back home for the Chinese new year.
It was really short-noticed — I only bought the ticket 2 days before I left, but Charlene made an immediate response, came in for a consulting session the same day, and agreed to spend a whole week at our place overnight (our place is in fact out of her usual service area, though with easy subway access). Thank you Charlene! :)
During the week-long stay Charlene took really good care of our cat, who has irritable bowel syndrome and as a result can only eat freshly cooked food. Charlene followed my instructions, including a side note about watering the cat nip! She played with him, brought toys for him, and sent us photo/video reports everyday. It felt so reassuring to see these updates, for it’s the first time we left our sick cat alone at home. When we returned home he even seemed to have grown larger, well which’s a good thing for an irritable bowel cat…
If we’ll be leaving town again we’ll definitely check Charlene’s availability before we go to any other service providers.

Congratulations to Charlene as you open your cat sitting business. Charlene and I have known each other for a few years, one of our main common interests is our love of cats. Charlene and I used to share cat sitting duties when she lived in Halifax. She cat sat my kitties, Molly and Winston, and I cat sat for her two kitties, Onyx and Peach. Charlene has a real love for animals, especially cats… and they LOVE her. She is a true cat person who looks after her cats with great love and care. I loved that I had Charlene as a friend to look after my kitties when I was not around. I trusted her completely for my cats’ care. She is now fostering as well, so those cats she takes in will certainly be loved and nurtured. I trust her completely with my cats and I do not hesitate having her in my home to look after my kitties! Even though she is in Toronto we still chat about our cats, and she is always ready to assist any way she can.
