Egor has more than 25 years experience in different martial arts, including Russian Sambo, Judo, Krav Maga and of course Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Egor currently holds the rank of ‘Master of Sport’ (black belt) in Sambo, and brown belt in BJJ under professor Shah Franco. Winner and medalist of numerous tournaments including Ontario Open and Montréal ADCC Pro Trials, Egor continuously improving in the arts as an instructor as well as a fighter. Egor is also known locally as a master of leg locks. Taking his knowledge of Russian Sambo he reintroduced them to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA.
Egor is the founder of Redstar BJJ — a very well known and successful BJJ kimono brand, and big supporter of grappling community in Ontario and North America.
