This review is for the cell phone accessory purchase here and not the rest of the store. There is a kiosk before you enter the main store that caught my eye as I was walking by. I was looking to get a screen protector for the cell phone I recently acquired. Sure I could have gone the eBay route and applied it myself but I never had much success in getting a perfect install. This place IMO charged a very reasonable 5 $ for the screen protector and got a perfect fit(no bubbles whatsoever). They also sell a lot of cellphone related accessories i.e. cases, lanyards and some of the most bejeweled items one can think of for your cell phone. They also a have a bigger store around the corner which offers more items(cell phone only). I will revisit them when I am looking to get a new case or screen protector for my phone in the future as it will save you a trip to the alternate at Pacific Mall.

–uh, maybe i’d give it a 2 ½ stars – There’s a jovial man who sits in the front all summer, banging a tiny drum, and shouting, «Hello, come in!» to the passersby on Dundas. I usually don’t fall for such cheap marketing tricks, but this man was charming, old, and full of spirit. I’m such a sucker. As per its name, the dollar store is a typical dollar store inside. However, it doesn’t quite stick with the pricing system; I’ve definitely paid more for toothpaste and toilet paper purchases there than I’ve done at other stores. It is a distinct store in the neighbourhood, though, so it’s worth a tourist browse and a one-minute stop to listen to the Mr. Dollar Store Drumming Man. Unfortunately, now that the weather has cooled down, the old man has been replaced by a gyrating Santa Claus… which excites me in a completely different way.
