Historique
Fondé en 2014.
How did I fall in love with chocolate? — My home town (Venezuela) produces some of the best cocoa beans in the world, in a small town called Chuao. However, the country’s tropical weather conditions make it really tough to taste a genuine chocolate truffle; instead, confectionary goods usually come in the form of chocolate bars, like most NA chocolate brands, without a key healthy ingredient: «The Cocoa Butter». The cocoa butter accounts for delivering and enhancing the great taste of chocolate.
I had developed a passion for high quality chocolate products from a small Belgian chocolate artisan, in Caracas, «La Praline».

I am Daniel Palacios, born & raised in Venezuela. I have completed a certificate as a Professional Chocolatier at George Brown College (Toronto, 2012), and took some advanced Chocolate courses at Callebaut — Chocolate Academy (Quebec). I am also a chemist, with an MBA in marketing.
From 1988 – 1992, I gained entrepreneurial experience as I started a small salad dressing business back in my native country Venezuela, called Snacks Alimentos. Throughout the years, I also developed experience in marketing while working in some of the Fortune’s top 100 companies.
