My review regards the workshops(Course Flow) taught by Robert Harris. I registered for the introduction to Craniosacral Therapy, which is a 6 hour, 1 day course taught on a Saturday. Mr. Harris, the instructor, was 15 minutes late for course. When he arrived, rather than apologize and introduce himself, he asked if some of the students would help him fetch a few things from his car… very unprofessional. It took about ½ hour before we were ready to go. The instructor spent a great deal of time discussing the 2nd&3rd parts of this«course flow.» Sadly I had already pre-paid for the 2nd part of the course. Anyhow the«Introduction to Craniosacral Therapy» was a bust. I could see others in this class were not impressed either. Part 2, «Hands Becoming Therapeutic» wasn’t much better. This was a 3 day course over 18 hours. There was very little hands on and everything moved at a snails pace. The instructor looked tired and like he was going through the motions. IMHO there were too many people in this class for their to be sufficient hands on. I did not sign up for«In-Depth Focus On Head, Spine & Dura»…the last part of the course. Sadly I wasted my time & money of this course with the CTC. I decided to take the whole course elsewhere(Richmond HIll). It was a very positive experience and the instructor was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Even though it has brain in the name, the Cranial Therapy Centre is my choice for the RMT services of Christine Schloen. I used to visit her secondary location on Ronce, but with Cranial being perfectly located downtown I made the switch. I’ve never had a bad massage and Christine REALLYREALLY knows her stuff. As a fellow cyclist she’s fixed me up a few times and I’ve always left feeling much better and much more educated. She really understand bio-mechanics and does a great job of helping her clients understand the inner workings. Prices are very affordable and seeing as she is a fully registered RMT, my health plan has always picked up a portion of the cost.
