El Gaucho Chorizos is located in the north market area of the St Lawrence market(Saturdays only). You can easily spot this place because it is easily the busiest/most popular vendor in the entire north market. Sausages! They have lots and lots of sausages. Over 50 varieties. They honey garlic ones they do are amazing, I usually buy a few of those and a try something new every time. They also do merguez sausages which I haven’t seen sold elsewhere around the city. Most varieties seem to cost around $ 5 a lb or so. You’ll have to wait in line, but don’t worry — they have a number system to ensure you get served quickly. Make sure you stop by for free samples, they always have some available.
