David and the fine team at Ferreira-​Wells Immigration Services managed our application for Canadian permanent residency, which was just approved! We could not be more excited. Our application took far shorter than we ever expected (~5 months from completion of application to approval). Of course timing CANNOT be guaranteed by any immigration service — if they do, RUN because no service can tell you exactly what the times will be because of how the CIC is operated. But we are so happy that the experts at Ferreira helped prepare our application because the CIC approved our application unconditionally and did not even require an interview or any further documents.
The immigration process is daunting and I really think it would have been impossible (or at the very least extraordinarily painful, stressful, and difficult) without good help. It is absolutely worth the money to hire an experienced immigration expert because of the immense amounts of stress and time it will save you.
From the start Ferreira let us know that we would have a lot to be responsible for as clients. They were extremely comprehensive and expert in their instructions to us, explaining all of the available routes to permanent residency (e.g. in country versus out of country), the ins and outs of the legal code, how employment works, the current trends in immigration reform and policies, the pros and cons of different strategies, how to fill out each of the numerous forms and documents, arranging and timing medical exams, how to handle travel during the process… the list goes on and on. At each step of the process, the team were very prompt with email responses to all the questions we had along the way.
David and the team will expect a lot from you if you are their client; they will expect you to take the process as seriously as they do. In immigration, it is up to YOU to keep your application moving forward — all told, we probably spent about 3 months tracking down and sorting all the necessary personal photos, documents, travel histories/​documents, timelines, birth certificates, and other documents. But if you follow the instructions and work hard, you can trust that the Ferreira team will prepare your application the best it can possibly be and give you all the tools you will need to be successful.
