Favorite Goodlife location by far!
The staff are very friendly and the gym is very proper and spacious. I very much like the layout of this gym. We go to this location every morning to avoid the rush.

I used to use the goodlife in Liberty Village but the amount of hairspray and cologne in the air was kind of annoying. (Did not realise it was a requirement to tart up before gym)
Anyhow since moving back i made the switch to this newer location and all i can say is super! So much more space and better layout with more nicer staff on hand.
On entry the cardio machines are all in the first section which eventually leads around to some more cardio machines and then the free weights combined with some machine weights. The only bad point I can think of is that some of the machine weights are bunched up a bit too close together.
They have pretty much everything from a good selection of classes and enough equipment to ensure you are not standing around waiting.
The only time i have seen this gym super busy is usually on a Monday where for the guys, there may be some locker checking to find an empty one. Otherwise on other days it has been fine.

This Goodlife location is probably my favourite and it isn’t just because its the closest one to me.
The equipment is fairly new and they have a good number of machines/free weights. I also like that everything at this location is on one floor and it’s pretty big/open.
I enjoyed it even more when this location first opened as there weren’t a lot of people so there were no wait times. Now it can be busy at times but the wait times are still reasonable.

NOT ENOUGH LOCKERS!
This gym is great — new & well-maintained equipment, friendly & professional staff, and plenty of options.
The one problem: between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., there are not enough lockers, in the men’s changeroom.
Your options: stand over someone (and wait, as they change), or change in the lockeroom, and then put your stuff in a larger day-locker, on the other side of the gym.
I hope they fix this problem soon because there is space, to add more.
If they dealt with this issue, I wouldn’t hesitate to give this gym 4 to 4.5 stars.

I’ve been to other GoodLife gyms before and have been a member at other gyms. I must say that this is a pretty decent gym. Staff are friendly and courteous. The place is kept clean. I usually go either just before 5 pm or after 8:30 pm weekdays. It starts to get super busy closer to 6 pm. There’s 2 hour validated parking starting at 4:45 pm.
There are a ton of treadmills, ellipticals, etc. I find the free-weights area to be well-equipped but it does get tight for space. The LifeFitness machines are all new and great to use.
Overall, it’s a good gym and like many in the neighbourhood, it gets really busy so you just have to work with it.

Goodlife is largely a great chain. Their clubs are usually well run, their policies are fair. You don’t find many gym chains in Toronto that don’t have a litany of complaints. Goodlife is one of the few exceptions. Their only downside is they are rapidly becoming a monopoly in the Toronto gym club scene. But they’re becoming a monopoly because they’re doing it exactly right.
This is one of their newest clubs downtown. It’s not 24 hours. Its coed. No special features like a pool. Lots of cardio machines. I’m not much of a fan of the weight machines they have here. I wish Goodlife could standardize those from club to club. The only real downside, why I’m docking a star or two, is they didn’t build a big enough locker room.
