I brought in a $ 250 order for printing colour postcard ads (paid up front). When the cards were printed, the colours were completely different than my original file. They only then told me that the colour printed wrong because the file type I gave them was not ideal, and that if I wanted to give them a different file type, so that the colour would print correctly, it would cost me an additional $ 100! I complained a lot and eventually got them to bring it down to $ 60 extra dollars, but the mix up was entirely their fault and it shouldn’t have cost me anything.
Oh, and even after the second round of printing the colours still weren’t quite right. I was tired of dealing with them so I just took them and gave up.
