Jacob Mercari was started in order to meet the needs of current engagement ring buyers looking for the right jewellery store.

We are passionately focused on producing high quality jewellery at fair prices. All of our jewellery is ethically sourced. Fairmined Gold, recycled gold, loose Canadian diamonds are available for customers searching for a truly ethical engagement ring. We also carry great alternatives such as lab created diamonds.

We have a large selection of pre-set engagement rings of various styles and designs.

Gregory is a second generation diamantaire. He studied the diamond business overseas for a year before returning to Toronto to work in the family business. He worked in the family business for 8 years learning all that he could about diamonds, gems and jewellery manufacturing.

With a focus on customer service and high ethical standards, he wanted to create an avenue for consumers to purchase jewellery free of confusing sales tactics and inflated pricing. From these ideals, Jacob Mercari was born.

How do I even begin to tell you how great my experience was with Jacob Mercari. I was impressed with every step of the process, from the initial consultation, all the advice of sizing and design and their honesty and pricing — it was absolutely top notch. I checked out a lot of other places, as an engagement ring is a very big decision and I didn’t see anywhere else that matched their level of service.
Greg guided me through the design process and offered great advice and was willing and eager to help me make it even better than I could have imagined. I needed my ring rushed and they helped make it happen under a very tight time crunch. The aftercare for the two products I have purchased so far is incredible and shows you they are committed to serving their clients.
I’ve rated these guys inexpensive ($). A quality engagement ring anywhere is a few thousand, but I really was able to maximize my value here. I’ve compared almost identical stones at other places and been shocked at the price I was quoted. Value is unbeatable at this place.
If I could give them 6 stars I would, honestly — skip the big box guys and visit Jacob Mercari. You will not be disappointed.
