This place has been amazingly helpful and really works with the client to make them happy. Great prices for beautiful dresses. Highly Highly recommend!!!

I heard a lot of good things about Jolie and I was looking forward to finally visiting their store. I went with one of my bridesmaids and the service was absolutely terrible! The woman in attendance just brushed us off, was uncouth, rude and talked down to us like we didn’t matter(mind you we’re not attention seekers; we just simply wanted some help looking at bridesmaids dresses). I couldn’t stay another minute in the store and just left. I would not recommend anyone to go to Jolie Bridal — poor customer service.

So far I am a fan! …and I am not an employee of the store, nor related to anyone in the store. I walked in with my mother, sister and nieces and no appointment. When answering no to whether I had an appointment, they said«that’s okay» and immediately started to help me go through the bridal gowns. Gowns are priced $$-$$$. There was one other bride-to-be already in the store being helped. A complete 180 from their competitor located on the other side of Dufferin who insisted we come back with an appointment, even though there was no one in the store. I was also impressed at how they helped the other bride who had started crying in her change room from the stress caused by her mother and mother-in-law to be, who were supposedly helping her pick a dress. Needless to say, I left an hour later after paying the first installment on my dress and the other bride was clapping her hands and saying«yes» to her dress. The ladies here were warm, welcoming and wonderful. …will be back with a review after my fittings!

My best friend got her wedding dress here few years ago and looking at multiple bridal places. We worked with Mary for her wedding and Mary helped me when it came to my own wedding. I went in the store with few of my bridesmaids knowing the style I liked. They helped me pick about 5 or 6 dresses to try on based on the styles I told them I liked and fell in love with the 3rd one I tried on within 30 hours being in the store. I’m one of those brides who will make a decision right there if I like something a lot and didn’t feel the need to keep looking, of course there are always better but the Mori Lee 1862 was exactly I knew would be the RIGHT dress the moment I tried it on. It was a very very very reasonable price, we negotiated prices and got a few hundred dollars off but the dress itself wasn’t expensive to begin with so I was very happy! I didn’t use their in-house seamstress and got a referral from them to a seamstress called Anna who did such a fabulous job on alterations. We also got my bridesmaids dresses there from the line Sorella Vita, a very nice chiffon blush pink perfect for summer wedding. We couldn’t be any happier and pleased with Jolie Bridal.

Brides, if you want terrible service, zero privacy in the change rooms and added stress due to them coding/fudging your style numbers when you decide to shop around? Then look no further. I have never experienced such rude service in all my life. You’d think that a store that knows they are gouging customers would make up for it with exemplary service. I went in with my MOH to look for a dress. We found a beautiful Sorella Vita. The only problem is that they quoted the price @ $ 320+alt. Now I’m a pretty chill bride and by no means do I expect my MOH to drop that much on something she may never wear again. So, we kindly asked them to write down the style #‘s so that we could come back if we decided we liked it enough to pay that much. As it turns out the info they wrote on the card was incorrect and in no way aided us in ensuring what they were asking was reasonable.(their plan I’m sure). So last weekend we decided to go back in and get the proper code ourselves. Within in seconds of being let into a change room the very shear curtain was torn open by the employee… Employee.“are you going to try on the dress or not”? Me. «are you going to give me the privacy to do so»? I asked how she knew I wasn’t stark naked? I was told they could see my outline. I assure you, anyone who states they are rude and constantly open the curtains, is telling the truth. Any positive review about the store is planted by the owners/employees. Blu Ivory(1282 St Clair ave W) has a better selection of Sorella Vita and for at least $ 100 less.

I purchased my wedding dress here last August and have not been happy with the experience to date. I ended up purchasing my dress here by chance, having found the perfect wedding dress on display. My initial experience here was positive; the service was decent and I was given a clear timeline that the dress in my size would arrive in store in six months time and I paid for the dress in full up front($ 1650). The dress in reality took nine full months to arrive in store. The first time I inquired about the dress, I was told not to worry that the dress would be in that week. The next week arrived and the dress did not and when I inquired a second time, the staff was extremely rude. They also refused to call the designer to check the order status and I had to phone them myself. I was also informed rudely three different times that the dress needed to be paid in full before I tried it on when it came in. The dress had been paid in full in August. When the dress finally arrived(a full three months later than expected), they were over an hour late or the appointment that I had scheduled to try the dress on. The service was mediocre at best and I felt as though they were trying to nickel and dime me into purchasing other accessories and even tried to charge $ 20 for a garment bag for me to take the dress home. Also the seamstress who works out of Jolie and does the alterations rarely works on site and it has made it impossible for me to have my alterations done. I have had to make arrangement on my own. All in all I felt that while they were taking my money, the service was good but once the dress was paid for in full, the good service ended. Fortunately my wedding is in the Fall, although my mother made a special trip to Toronto to see the dress and almost missed out. After my experience, I would not recommend Jolie Bridal to other brides. On short, poor service and a big headache instead of what should have been a good experience.
