We are a small firm of structural engineers and architectural technologists; we provide structural engineering design and general home design services for houses and small buildings. We specialize in preparing building permit plans for structural changes to houses, such as basement underpinning (basement lowering), removing load-​bearing walls, and fixing houses with structural problems.

We also prepare have a sister company that provides general contracting services mostly for homeowners who need a contractor that can execute specific structural related repairs to houses

Historique

Fondé en 1999.

After having worked in heavy industrial structural engineering and transportation engineering (HATCH, TTC Engineering, Maple-​Reinders) Ken Davis, P. Eng. founded the firm as a 1 person operation in 1999. Gradually, after seeing the need for structural engineers to offer residential structural engineering services to Architects, Residential Contractors and Home Owners, the firm began to specialize exclusively in providing structural engineering design and site review services.

The firm grew to 5 persons and in 2006, Mr. Davis started a sister construction company that also specializes in structural related construction work for houses.

Firm presently employs 2 full time structural engineers and 3 architectural technologists.
