I brought a suit jacket, white shirt, and vest for dry cleaning after a wedding. The jacket had a food stain, and the shirt was stained with a pink colour all around the collar(from dancing sweatily with a feather boa during the reception… it was a pretty rad wedding). Anyway, I was kind of concerned that the colour wouldn’t come off, since it was a pretty pricey shirt. The woman who works there doesn’t speak much English, but if you make an extra effort to communicate more clearly, she’ll do a great job with your clothes that isn’t too hard on your wallet either. When I came to pick up my clothes, everything was pristine and stain-free. This time I went there because my regular cleaner was closed, but I’d go there again :)

Nice honest lady who works there. She will give you an honest opinion on whether an item will clean up to your satisfaction. All around cheap and cheerful — can’t complain!

Kembass is our regular cleaner. The job they do is fine and they are probably the cheapest in the nighbourhood. You can’t deny that Boyd’s down the street does a better job(and that’s still where I take important things) but $ 8 a shirt adds up quickly. So we go here. Take the posted hours with a grain of salt. I’ve arrived half an hour after«opening» and half an hour before«closing» only to find it locked up. Come with cash — even though she has a debit machine, she’ll put up a fight if you want to use it(even for a $ 50 order).
