La Boucherie Fine Meats

The St Lawrence market is full of great shops, and La Boucherie is one of them. I like shopping here because not only is the meat high quality, but they go the extra step and do a better job trimming the cuts than most of the others. It is that extra attention to detail that adds value and makes this one of my favourite places to shop in the market.

This place is great all of the meats are top quality and a wide selection. Might be a bit biased as they are old friends if the family who I grew up going to for the past 30years and family has gone for a lot longer than that. If you ask them they will even shrink wrap the meat if your not using it right away. Located in the St Lawrence Market.

An excellent butcher at St. Lawrence Market and one of my favourites. I’m here weekly to buy items for a few meals. Excellent quality and selection. Prices are reasonable. Everyone is very friendly and the service is great!

I have had many different meats from La Boucherie and all of them have been amazing.
I have to admit — an absolute favourite of family and friends are their burgers. They are made there and all you do is bring them home and put them on the BBQ. If you are watching your carbs you won’t miss a bun. They are great to go with any meal.
La Boucherie mixes a few different meats in their burgers (I will not give away their secret), but the product is 100% and the flavour is Tops.
The service is also very good. A bit pricey — but you get what you pay for at the Market.

While La Boucherie Fine Meats is a smaller butcher compared to its many rivals at the St. Lawrence Market, I tend to visit each time I go in search of sausage, bacon and pork tenderloin.
They offer quite a wide variety of sausages, my favourite being the spinach and feta along with the sundried tomato and basil. Very unique sausages that I haven’t found at other locations.
Their bacon is reasonably priced when compared to other butchers at the market and on Saturday you can often buy a slab of peameal bacon, at a discount, which they will slice for you, rather than buying the pre-​sliced bacon which is a bit pricier.
I have never been disappointed in their products, so I definitely recommend checking them out when you’re at the market and need some meat!

La Boucherie is a decent butcher spot in the south market at St Lawrence.
They specialize in prepared, oven-​ready types of meat (roasts, steaks, chops and kebabs/​souvlakis already marinaded) as well as all the usual stuff (sausages, poultry, beef, lamb and pork)
Their selection is quite a bit smaller than some of the other butchers/​meat vendors in the market. I generally prefer to buy from some of the other options like Wittiveens, who have better selection, but La Boucherie is an ok choice.
