Historique

Fondé en 2011.

My grandparents had a farm in Midhurst, Ontario so I grew up eating the best the countryside had to offer. Daisy, our dairy cow, gave us fresh milk and all our vegetables were fresh from the field.

Living in the Upper Beaches near Coxwell & Gerrard with young children, I never had a place to go for coffee or great food. I realized a lot of people in our neighbourhood felt the same way. Once my children became school age I knew if was time to go for it! I’ve channeled all of our energy into bringing wonderful locally sourced food and top notch coffee to our guests. We’re proud of our menu and hope you enjoy our friendly, modern, country café.

Gérant de commerce

I grew up spending summers on my grandparent’s farm in Midhust, Ontario. After University, lived in London, England for 12 years and opened a small chain of bagel cafes in Camden Town and Richmond-upon-Thames. I spent a lot of time with friends in Borough market tasting, loving and learning what good food was all about, Came home with an English husband in tow, had two sprogs and realized my hood really needed a fantastic café. Imagined it, built it, and now we’re open! It’s been a dream come true — come check it out, we hope you’ll love Lazy Daisy’s too!
