Louis Vuitton

Hit and miss service here. The SA like to stare you down and then a random friendly one will appear and ask if you need help. Beautiful store but I would much rather shop at the location within holt. The SA at holt are much more personable and friendly.

This Louis Vuitton store on Bloor may be the best in Canada but it lacks in so many ways compared to other cities I have shopped. When I do shop at Louis Vuitton Toronto, I look for Elvis and would encourage you to do the same. Elvis is so honest with his opinion, you wont go wrong. Personally, I prefer the Louis Vuittom in Hong Kong. I do enter into the Toronto location from time to time but will usually make my final purchase over seas. Far better service, more current selection and the no tax policy in Hong Kong is a bonus and makes it such a bargain.

Location is really nice an setting if very classy, price is normal for louis V brand, customer support wasn’t friendly; purchased my belt here but realized it wasn’t anything special so i refunded it, If you want to just show off with you’re branded clothes, this is the place to go, but you can totally buy better quality for a lot less an you won’t regret it later on.

This store was okay, They do have much better service then most luxury designer stores. Since I did not have to look for help myself but they are judgemental on what you buy upon your appearance and will not leave you alone and follow you around everywhere. I did not like that I couldnt browse without being asked a zillion questions If i saw something i liked i would say so. I did not need a tag along. Overall I had an okay experience at this store. I wish they were more friendly like Holt Renfrews.

I’ve been going to this location since 2005 and have experienced going to all three stores in Toronto.
This store was actually renovated and looks a lot nicer than before. The staff here are really just looking to find people dressed a particular way I find, I went just this summer and was dressed casually. They didn’t seem interested in selling me anything until I came and picked up my piece dressed a little more classy. The piece was amazing though, very happy.
Had an issue with something, they took care of it really quick.
Better than Holt Renfrew LV at Yorkdale.

I do not know how some Louis Vuitton stores are, but this location was a bit of a snob at first impressions. The friendly ones are usually occupied with customers. and the snobby looking ones are. well, they just couldn’t be bothered behind the glass counter. which makes it hard to approach them.
The selections are quite okay, but if your seriously looking for a certain item, my advice is to call in before you go all the way to visit them. They may or may not have them in stock. I just got lucky I got mine that was the last in stock (at that time).

STAFF — 4 (just because some of them literally leave you alone KNOWING you are standing there waiting for 15mins or so. I mean, couldn’t hurt to check if you were dealt with someone right?)
ATMOSPHERE — 5. I do like how the store looks. Very spacious. Pity they didn’t have much selections to show.

High-​end luxury bag retailer located in great location in Yorkville, Toronto’s high end district. I purchased a small messenger bag here and with the exception of the large presence of foreign tourists snapping up goods and keeping the employees occupied, the location has the look and energy that Louis Vuitton is world-​reknowned for.

I find the service here impeccable. I always enjoy shopping or just browsing here. It may not be as great as the Louis stores in Hong Kong, but it is the best in Canada!

bought bags there… the handles were kinda … dirty

Great men’s casual shoes. $ 750 for a tshirt though? C’mon.
Service is okay but my sales woman kind of wandered off while I was trying to pick out a winter scarf and I had to look for her. Service is betrer at Gucci. Though, once it became apparent I was buying she stuck close.
It’s probably telling their customer enrollment card comes in English on one side and Chinese on the other side and I was presented by force of habit the Chinese side. Yes, trust me those Canadian dollars we send to China buying at Walmart are recycled back in the form of retail along Bloor/​Bay.
I didn’t like the packaging. Packing is where it’s at when buying at these stores. I want a great sexy bag I can pass on to my sister so she can use to take her lunch of deer meat jerky to work. Again Gucci packs it up tight and right. LV’s bag is kind of dull. The scarf I bought at Gucci for my sister came packed in a great little box tied up with a ribbon. The LV scarf I bought just got wrapped up in tissue.

The 111 Bloor St. W location is the LV flagship store in Canada. There are two other locations in Toronto, both inside Holt Renfrew stores, one on Bloor just down the street and one at Yorkdale Mall.
What can you say about LV that hasen’t already been said. If you are looking at this review you probably already know what LV is all about.
This location is two stories of top-​shelf goods that need no introduction: high quality goods at an even higher price. Indeed, as with any high-​end brand, you are paying for the name on top of the quality. This location, unlike the other two in Toronto, carries the entire LV line: shoes, leather goods, clothing, sunglasses, luggage, etc.
The service here is definitely lacking compared to LV stores in the United States. I often feel as if the employees forget that they are the staff and not the customers. However, this appears to be a phenomenon associated with Bloor street as a whole, and not necessarily just LV.

While it still boasts both the Louis Vuitton and the Holt Renfrew insignia, this particular location just doesn’t compare to what’s available at Yorkville. More beautiful, more accessible, busier… the one in Yorkville exists on more superlatives than simple comparatives. I recommend venturing to the flaship.
