Fondé en 2013.

We opened Love Me Do to solve a need for a family-oriented retail environment in Liberty Village. With backgrounds in the educational field, we also want Love Me Do to serve as a place for learning and community through the classes and activities we offer to parents-to-be and families in and around the neighbourhood.

Prior to opening Love Me Do, I worked as a higher education administrator. Being new parents and new residents of Liberty Village, my husband and I saw an opportunity to provide a family-oriented retail environment in the neighbourhood.

Beyond offering a friendly retail environment, it is the opportunity to build community for parents-to-be and existing families that makes Love Me Do truly enjoyable and meaningful to me. In the short time that we’ve been here, we’ve had parents come through while they were expecting and then come back just to introduce us to their new babies. Now that’s special.

One of the best baby stores in the city.
The good: Great selection of many things (small store, so small selection of strollers). Helpful, knowledgeable, patient staff. They will go out of their way to find answers for you. Delivery was fast (next day) and the woman delivering offered to help with setup! There is a kids’ play area in the store. So your kid can play… Rather than stand around and watch you shop ;)
The so so: products are higher end, so not cheap. But their prices are in line with other stores.

The BEST baby boutique in Toronto. They have everything you didn’t even know you need and amazing customer service every time! I love it and my son loves to play and nurse in the play area. They are well stocked and up to date with the newest innovations for babies.

I came in here to find some baby gifts for some friends who had a baby girl a few months ago. I literally had no idea what to get so this place really saved me. My budget was about $ 75 and this place had so many baby gift options it was unbelievable.
I ended up getting a thing that let’s you take the hand print of the baby and hang it up, as well as some cute owl stuffed toy because owls are a hoot, a congratulatory baby card, and cute little baby socks.
The only person working was a nice lady who was a bit busy but helped us out and offered some suggestions. She was really into her job but almost TOO into it if that’s possible. For example she was talking to us like you’d talk to a baby while showing us her recommendations. I was really confused, because you know, I’m not a baby and all that. NBD, she was friendly enough and gift wrapped our items. What a lifesaver!

Everything about this store is great. The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Compared to other baby/kids stores it’s extra baby friendly. They have a really wide selection on expertly curated merchandise.

Linda and staff are definitely the reason I keep coming back. We bought our stroller and car seat here, both better quality, higher safety reviews and even more stylish looking than anything we saw in big box chain stores. We even got a deal on the stroller — it came with a removable pram, something we were hoping to find, and she delivered it to our door! Linda helped us instal our car seat after coming back for some advice on our stroller — which she also helped us with. There are so many new things to learn as a new parent, you need a place like Love Me Do that has knowledgeable staff who own the products and are also parents. I’ve even custom ordered stuff from them. They have old fashioned wooden blocks you can order in almost any language. We ordered them in Danish (normally impossible to find) as it’s my husbands first language.

Located in Liberty Village (on the east side of metro, CIBC) this fun and cute baby and maternity store is truly a great find!
They have a good selection of baby toys (rattles, books, games) as well as baby essentials (such as car seats, strollers, nursing pillows). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable about products. I’ve been to this store a few times to help my sister find various and sundry items for her baby and we have always received excellent customer service! The store also carries organic and environmentally friendly baby products.
Expectant mothers can easily create a registry for their baby shower which is user friendly for guests and convenient for people that cannot make it out to the store. We were also able to make arrangements for gifts to be wrapped and delivered to the event if a guest chose to do so, which was a very cool gesture by the store.
Overall, great customer service and excellent selection of products! If you live near the area and are looking to buy a gift for a baby shower or toddler this place is a good choice — the staff will definitely be able to help you find what you are looking for.
