I just want to corroborate the original review. I went Mei King based on the strength of Marc’s recommendation and found the husband and wife team just as described. I found the rice cooker I wanted almost immediately. They were very knowledgable, helpful, patient and pleasant when answering my questions.
You might not realize that they have such a range of quality products (including cookware) by just looking at the store front. It is modest and humble — just like the owners. Go in and look around. It’s an interesting place. I will certainly return.
Cash only — but there is a bank just up the street — no problem. Signed warranty card and receipt so you know they will back you up if you need it later on.

You know, when your looking for a Japanese rice cooker seems like most places see you coming. They know your willing to pay more, so they up the price. They also know that they’re not overly available in the city so no matter what your going to fork out. More than likely for something more than you need or less. You’ll find a limited choice in most cases.
After scouring the city from pacific mall to Korea town, Costco to Walmart. I wasn’t finding what i wanted. Looked like i was going to break down and pay way too much or go the online route and take my chances since Future shop/​Best buy had some but were pretty well constantly out of stock unless i wanted to travel to somewhere like Windsor to pick one up.
Luckily through the Panasonic site i found this place was one of their distributors. I came down to realize they were closed Wednesday but looking in i found they had the most gargantuan choice of rice cookers i’ve seen anywhere yet. Funny enough i’ve been here before and didn’t even notice them. So i decided to come back before breaking down and going the online route.
Best thing i ever did
This place has the best selection at the right price. The husband and wife know their products inside out and can help you in your decision. Their everyday price is the same as the cheapest price you’ll find online. They guarantee their stuff and have been there for many years.
They carry most of the Panasonic Line, a Huge selection of Tiger Brand products and quite an elaborate amount of Zojirushi products.
I don’t normally write such long reviews but after realizing that there was more than likely a few others down the road facing my rice cooker search dilemma it was worth the time.
Besides I’m happy with my 5 cup Panasonic Fuzzy Logic rice cooker that cooks brown rice beautifully and everything else i throw in it.
It’s Closed Wednesday and it is Cash Only.
That’s how they manage to keep the prices low.
