As a representative of MH Studios Toronto, I’ve only been in the music industry for about a year now but already I’m beginning to see what a disastrous place it can sometimes be. The number of artists that come through our doors broken apart, scared, and down in the gutter is astonishing. Where is this coming from? Why are they so skeptical of our services? Well turns out many of these artists have come from other music/​recording studios, most believing that they are too big to fail. Artists that spend thousands of dollars on dreams and hopes of making a killer song, only to be taken advantage of. They loose out on their song, and their money. Yes, talent does play a factor in a recordings success, but mistreating artists should not be one of those factors. What a hindrance to the creative spirit when someone is trying to create music and there is a hotshot producer on the other end criticizing and judging them because of their genre of music, age, gender, ethnicity, and wealth
