We make our flour tortillas in house, fresh everyday! Along with all other menu items, everything is made in house from our meats, rice, beans, cremas to salsas.
Historique
Fondé en 2015.
Our founder, Vanessa Caschera’s passion for good food started at a young age watching her mother Lidia cook delicious Italian food. Moving to Texas from Toronto in 2003 with her mother and stepfather Greg — a Dallas native — Vanessa immediately found herself immersed in the culture. Her mom Lidia and Greg moved back to Toronto in 2009 and Vanessa stayed further developing a palate for Mexican cuisine and lifestyle through her friends. After working in the restaurant industry for 10 years in some of Dallas’ signature restaurants and learning about food quality. Vanessa along with Lidia and Greg have a deep connection to Mexican food and want to bring the real-deal experience for Torontonians to enjoy.

Lidia’s role is product developer and quality control. We pride ourselves in our freshly made items including all of the cremas, salsas, guacamole and yes, the tortillas are made on the premise.
Ensuring all menu items taste the same each time a customer visits is key to our success. We do quality control checks every 2 hours and each time an item is made and ready to be served. We are not kidding… we are quality obsessed.
