Historique

Fondé en 2003.

Naturepedic was founded by Barry A Cik, an environmental engineer familiar with the health risks of toxic chemicals. Together with his two sons he created Naturepedic to provide healthier crib mattresses without the chemicals commonly found in traditional mattresses. Naturepedic expanded to offer certified organic mattresses to discerning adults, believing healthier materials are essential to true luxury.

Since its inception, Naturepedic has been guided by integrity and innovation. Through better materials and creative designs, Naturepedic mattresses meet flammability requirements without the need for flame retardant barriers or other chemicals. Each entire mattress is certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), as is the manufacturing facility. Whether through customizable mattresses, virtuoso designs combining organic latex and individually encased coils, or distinctive latex-​free models, Naturepedic continues to expand the field of organic mattresses.
