No Strings Theatre is a non-profit school for those interested in developing performing arts skills, centered around musical theatre. Our wide range of programs allow us to cater to the artistic development of students aged 12 to 29 years old.

Historique
Fondé en 2005.
Since its inception, No Strings Theatre has been providing well-rounded performing arts training to students aged 12 to 21, centered around musical theatre. All classes are led by industry professionals, and our in-house productions allow students to showcase their talent in full-scale, orchestrated, sold-out shows.
During its growth, No Strings Theatre has added new programs to its roster, such as Emerging Artists Professional Program for mature students aged 21 to 29, Audition Preparation Workshops, Pit Orchestra, and more.

Manager
Denise Williams is a professional singer, actress, and music educator. She has an international performance career encompassing the concert stage, opera stage, theatre stage, television, commercials. Her most recent appearances in Toronto have been Monisha in the Nathaniel Dett Chorale’s concert performance of Treemonisha at Koerner Hall, and she was in the cast of Mirvish’s North American première of The Sound of Music at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Denise concentrates her time on performance education, and has founded No Strings Theatre with a desire to aid youth in developing their skills in music theatre as well as grow in their team skills for life. As a music educator, she has directed children and youth choirs for the Toronto District School Board, Royal St. George’s College School, Suzuki and Thornhill Music Camps, and many other community organizations.
